Regarding Fatawu's return from his ACL injury...

 

If you are old enough, you can remember that recovery from major ACL surgery was 12 months minimum.  Full recovery (back to 100% for the player) might take up to 15 months.

 

Nowadays -- Abdul is injured November 2024.  In August 2025 he is back, training, starting a friendly match, and looking at least close to 100%.

Can’t think of 2 better wide players in the league than Mavididi and Fatuwo. 
Add to that Monga and Mcateer and there’s decent options on the wings. 
Still think we need a forward and a creative midfielder.

I think he's doing a lot more today in this role.  In the previous friendlies he was having a game more akin to the one Soumare is having right now.  Unremarkable.  But Skipp is doing a lot of good work off the ball today, and in good positions.
