Bit of a weird move anyway, Leicester to West Ham isnt a big step up apart from them being in the Premier League.

Smacks of we were desperate to sell and West Ham were the only club interested.

I loved him in the short lived Maresca era.

You're deluded if you think West Ham isn't a step up from us. We're mid table Championship which is another world to Premier League dross.

Apparently currently in talks with Tottnum. Sell-on clause? Not that West Ham will be making much of a profit.

Edit: looks like a loan/swap deal.

Somewhere deep inside mads is a decent goalkeeper. If he ends up at a stable club on the up and up I’m sure he will prosper and realize his full potential. The injury he came back off was sever enough that it Impacted his development. He’s kinda starting from scratch again but with some credit in the bank. Let’s see what happens.

Is he getting any Game time with West Ham. ?

Played 120 minutes against QPR and expected to play against against Burton in the 4th Round

Just to confirm - we can't afford his wage, so there is zero chance that he'll be coming back

Agreed, Personally I think Jakub is a better shot stopper and has a higher Ceiling. He just needs to cut out the mistakes.

Then again too much gets through to him which should be prevented much earlier by outfield players.

Based on?

Since Hermansen's injury he has approximately a 55% save rate at PL level. Worse than Danny Ward for example (although with Ward it was how ridiculous his misses were and the lack of confidence he gave).

As a short goal keeper he is massively dependent on his agility to make saves and he appears to have lost that.

Jakub gets criticised for palming shots back into danger areas, but currently shots in the corner of the goal are out Hermansen's reach, therefore you have to say that Jakub is currently the better shot stopper.

Hermansen's fitness may improve again though, you get the sense that he was rushed back early by both us and West Ham.

He has to make a far higher percentage of saves in games than most keepers. A lot of the Goals conceded has been down to other outfield players.

To quote a former international goalkeeping friend of mine, during a row in a game over a goal conceded. What were the rest of you f----ers doing before the Ball got to me.

We're so poor at negotiating games it's laughable at this stage.

Was it Mark Bosnich, and was he sniffing a lot?

Jakub won’t even make the Premier League never mind be in a relegation battle in the Premier League.

Not one part of his game is better than Hermansen’s.

He has also made the most mistakes leading to goals in the division. Weird how people miss that out but thanks to Sky for bringing it up prior to the WBA game.

There's not a single aspect of Stolarczyk's game that is better than Hermansen's

Quite hard to tell from comparison on the seasons, as we have 18 games left and he is 2 short of the seasons total conceded.
Stick Mads in this team and vice versa and it would looked a lot different on performances.

He isn't and he doesn't

I disagree, Some of his save have been outstanding. One against WB was so good the Cameras nearly missed it.

Mads was better with the ball at his feet but useless at comes for crosses. And he hasn't done too well since his move.
