Following on from a similar post I made in this thread, I know it didn't matter in the end but where on earth did the they get 7 minutes of stoppage time from? I know there was an injury stoppage late on but it didn't justify that long. I know this is a little pedantic but there doesn't seem to be any level of consistency with the time keeping when we got 4 minutes of stoppage time against Sheff United when they spent the whole half slowing the game down.

I thought the same. Also the ref played another minute and a half on top of that, which was bizarre as well.

But in all the games we've had this season, he was the best of a bad bunch as refs goes. Still crap, but less crap than others.

The standard of refereeing in this league is atrocious. How the EFL think it's acceptable is beyond me.

If it wasn't for bad ref's we'd have no ref's at all? :-/

But where is the training? Where is the help? I get what your saying but if you train your refs correctly, it would improve. Lack of consistency is appalling.

5 and a half for the subs and goals so a minute and a half for the injuries seems fair. I don’t think 7 minute yesterday was the problem, I think only 4 in the Sheffield United game was the problem.

Inconsistency yes. But yesterday not the problem.

Didn’t see the handball. But I thought in general the ref yesterday was won of the better ones, didn’t notice him that much.

If its the one I am thinking of it came from a cross, hit 2 Ipswich players on the arm in the air as they were together, then one of them went to ground and handballed it again. Literally 3 in the space of a second or 2

The one where it ricocheted off a couple of players I can understand why the ref either didn't see it or didn't give it because it's coming off each other player. But then when it's on the floor the guy literally sweeps it away lol

I don't think the ref yesterday was that bad. But it was mildly annoying he'd give a few soft pushes for them but when Mavididi was on the receiving end a couple of times nothing was given.

Its the little things like where Clarke won a goal kick off Mavididi when he clearly put it out for a corner. Mavadidi was livid as well. Add all these up with not getting the small 50/50s and the lack of consistency then its fair to say it was another poor performance. Just wish someone would actually call out because it is every game

Thought he did ok yesterday - no real major cock ups. Probably would have had a penalty with VAR. I don't think any ref is going to get 100% of decisions correct, particularly when some are borderline, and the antics of players doesn't help their cause. They only see things from the angle they are looking. I do agree though, there are some shocking refs in the championship

Did ok I thought. Was inconsistent on similar challenges and seemed to favour Ipswich mostly.

Mavididi push was a blatant foul and there was one or two on Ayew which should've been given and Ipswich got away with positions at throw ins too.

No real impact on the game thankfully as Ipswich were crap but on another day these would be magnified.

Not forgetting the 3 minutes in the first half when there’d been no stoppages at all! Me and my mate commented that we only got 4 mins against Sheff U when there’d been 8 or 9 subs and lots of stoppages. So where yesterdays 10 minutes or so total came from god only knows.

Best of a bad bunch , not booking the Ipswich player for going through Ayew from behind was a bad one

Great refereeing for the 3rd goal Leif Davis trying buy a foul , see them too often given when there's no foul

The injury was exactly 2 mins stoppage. 3 sub breaks. Should've been 4 mins. How we ended up playing 8 was utterly bizarre. Thought the ref was mostly ok otherwise.

A proper dickhead this one. Strolling round looking ever so arrogant obviously annoyed he’s no longer reffing the prem. Gave them the lot. Lino west stand side was bad too.

The few times he's changed his mind did baffle me. Gave some very soft calls against us

How did he not send their lad off that took out Daka out? The worst we’ve had in a long long time.

He played on - think it’s a tough one to call as he either stops the game and gives a red or allows play to continue with a very clear goalscoring opportunity for us. I think we’d be up in arms either way.

I’m usually not bothered an iota about refereeing performances but that was abysmally bad. Missed so many obvious fouls. Mukasa particularly was pushed, shoved and had his shirt grabbed all game

He’s still committed a “DOGSO” whether he played advantage or not.

Terrible ref. Really poor. When you consider the soft red BDCR got at Brum and the multiple fouls put in by multiple Preston defenders that would warranted two yellows. Another ref apparently beguiled by the narrative of LCFC dropping to League 1 and reffing accordingly.
