I despise our ownership so much that I am almost completely apathetic to whatever the players produce on the pitch. Yep they’re shite Wow who knew. Get rid of the charlatans at the top and then maybe I’ll feel something again

Appears to be yet another regime that we'll be renowned for having a good chance in the 1st 5 mins and miss it, to then not create anything else all half and be slow and laboured. The manager will say we weren't quick and intense enough blah blah blah.

I don't know what the problem is in this football club but it's deep routed. These players do not look receptive to this new manager on today's showing, look entrenched in decline.

We’ve seen it all before but it really feels like the effort isn’t being put in by a few too many players.

there just comes a point where we should just play Paige, aluku, Alves or anyone else who actually wants to be here.

Fatawu is struggling against Mr Small who’s massive 😮

He needs to drop further back and give himself space behind Small when he knocks it past him.

We are crying out for a midfielder that can actually run though. No movement in midfield and no movement up front from Ayew. Less said about the full backs the better.

This is the only thing Soumare is good at if asked of him!

This is 100% on the players disgraceful performance complete lack of effort and work rate. No desire. Spineless bunch of willy pullers. Not sure there has ever been a more hateful group of senior pros and I have watched some right shit in my life time .

Thought Cifuentes was the deal although not keen on his appointment. Think I was a bit hasty. This is just pound shop Pep MkII well past its sell by date.

you can not like this style if you don’t want but to suggest its anything like pep ball is laughable and shows lack of football knowledge much more direct

Put Daka on and hope he turns into a professional footballer

I tell you now once Daka gets one ... there will be no stopping him

Heard the goal was a cross/shot - was our keeper at fault?

Nothing he could do with the shot from where he was… because he was outside the penalty area and in front of the ball!

I think we are vastly overestimating our squad.

I don't think we are, It's Cifuentes that is by asking the players to try Pep Ball.

What baffles me is that it looked like the players were buying in in pre-season. So what the hell's happened? I can't see any of the patterns of play today.

Cifuentes’ excuse is he hasn’t been here very long and hasn’t got a clue what his squad will look like after 1st September. Difficult to judge if he has what it takes, but it doesn’t look promising.

Today’s first half performance is the perfect metaphor for a club in freefall. Utterly depressing stuff.
