We very clearly need this window to be closed before any form of togetherness can build.  I would say it is essential when it does we have at least 5 new faces in the dressing room to shake things up, bring a bit of fresh energy and ensure those who need to up their game feel a bit of pressure.

If this lot aren't in training running up hills at 9am this morning there's something wrong. Only a handful give a shit. As stated by many - ability doesn't cut it in this league, you've got to have the heart, desire and will to compete and be mentally tough. Very few of our players have those attributes.

There seems to be a culture of apathy and that has to stem from the TOP as all cultures do. We are royally screwed with this bunch as last season demonstrated. Thanks Top and Co for running us into the ground. What's stopping us being the next Sheff Weds or Bolton?

So Abdul is turning it on the fans now (REMEMBER WHO HELPS PAY YOUR WAGES EACH MONTH).

we have the right to stay or leave early if we want to.

Start earning your money, us fans pay alot of our hard earned money to watch the team play home and away.

Where are you seeing this from Fatuwu

Is it simply too comfortable at Seagrave and ordinary players thinking they are prime Man City. Mind Enzo managed to get us promoted with ease after a disastrous relegation. There appears to be something wrong about not just the ability of the current squad but lack of character. Nobody like a Kasper or Wes Morgan. Seems we can't bring in new players so that the likes of Soumare can be binned. Marti has a huge task and I hope he can galvanise this mob ASAP

How can players criticise fans for leaving early when they didn't even bother to turn up themselves?

I understand your sentiment. But if by bottom we could say youth, it' not all bad when we consider the potential of Monga, Page, Nelson, Aluko and others for all I know

This is true but they're at risk of being poisoned by the toxic negativity created by the wantaways and dead wood. They need moving out ASAP.

Turns up once every couple of games himself.

Lot of assumptions being made here. We don’t know what’s going on in there. Possibly correct, but a good manager takes no shit and gets them pulling in the same direction. It’s not rocket. Any player wanting out should be desperate to prove to prospective clubs exactly why they should be considered. Currently you wouldn’t touch Winks with a mouldy sock.

I reckon the Abdul message was club driven, ask one of the popular players to post a message asking for togetherness.

Not sure the hierarchy really cares enough to organise that

Posting here from the Fatawu stiff,

Suspect there's some sort of general resentment for the fans where some loud voices (Faes, Vestergaard, Wink,) and some with obvious discontent (BDR, Soumare, Ayew, Skipp, Hamza) are voicing it in the group and compounds to a very anti-fan group, probably made worse by some boo's.

Don't think anyone can doubt Fatawu's effort and is clearly the most loved player. Having a go at some very reasonable few leaving early going 2-1 down to, let's be honest, a shit Championship side, after the vast majority of the 11 who are more then capable, didn't play well enough is a bit hypocritical. Fans checking out early and players not putting 100% effort in kind of goes hand in hand.

Clearly quite a few don't fancy another season in the Championship and they need to be moved on, as we are all saying. If yesterday's performance (and I am talking body language, non-celebration of a child's first goal etc etc), is replicated against more able teams than Preston, we are in big trouble. But a lot of these behaviour is consistent with last season.

Players need to take responsibility for the result and their performance, it is not all down to manager. I'm sure we have all walked into these sort of toxic job situations, where blame culture permeates and thought 'what have I done?'

Random post I know but couldn’t see a more appropriate thread.

Edouard has achieved something more than he did with us for half a season, and that’s claiming a place on the bench in the Premier League today v Chelsea.

Was it him or was it us?

Said it last season. The club needs a leader, a  Pearsonesque character who takes no shit from the players or the hierarchy. Obviously Pearson took it to the extreme, and took no shit from the fans or the media, but this is what we need. That's why RvNs stance on Winks was exactly the right one. Marti looks like he wants to be everybody's friend, which is understandable because he's new, but he better bring out his nasty side, or else these players/DoF will take the piss more then they already have.

The manager has said he’s come in with a clean slate. He’s well aware of what happened last season. All we can do is give him some grace and hope that he sees some players will not change and that he makes the necessary changes. I’ve no idea what the man was like at west brom but his man management skills are about to be put to the test with our lot. Let’s not forget he has to deal with that crap show with Rudkin and top. I wouldn’t like to be in his shoes right now that’s for sure.

Even then they will probably want away before they sign a professional contract so we will receive a pittance of there value.

Wtf would Dyche do different? We can’t even pull off a transfer, he’d have the same group.

The togetherness we had from our group of when we won the league was unreal, we had winners, leaders, proper players that were fully committed. As Neil Warnock said "you've got to die for 3 points". That is the sort of culture Pearson built.

We don't have that now, we have lazy, overpaid, sulking bunch who don't really give a monkeys. It's a culture where they can do what they want and get away with it - just blame others and take no responsibility. Have a nice life at Seagrave, bring your dog to training, live 100's miles away from Leicester... You name it!

There's only a few players in our squad who I would say are decent likeable characters. I would like us to clear as many out as possible.

I was hoping our squad would look much different and we'd have fresh faces. We really need 3 or 4 in desperately who can go straight into the start 11. It's a real shame that's not happened yet.

We just need players who care about the club and want to be here. Right now that's not the case.
