Relying on one moment of individual magic again. Literally no fluidity, patterns of play or creativity other than that. 1 touch in their box in 50 minutes of football.

Too big a gap between the defensive mids and the attacking 4. Especially when the two defensive mids dont have the ability to traverse the gap.

We are ahead, yay, defensively decent,  it is low quality in terms of passing/transition. Hope and expect it to improve as time goes on and hopefully new recruits arrive.

But we are also playing long balls and doing nothing with it, they have had a lot of the ball in our final third so something different is occurring.

Skipp been ok but we need winks

Thomas needs to be sold ASAP and shouldn't be anywhere near this team.

Page needs to come off for Daka and ayew needs to drop back. Mavididi needs to come off for Monga

Wasn’t a very good watch, but Page aside nobody has had a notably poor game for Leicester, and even then Page has been Okay ish, not a disaster. Ayew does piss me off constantly falling over mind. 

I agree. Very Championship though. Feels like neither us nor Birmingham are going to be anywhere near automatic spots. The players aren’t good enough for it.

Well, if Birmingham are all that, really the Championship isn't all that either.  But we knew this already.

 

Shocking to watch but those glimpses of quality make up for it when the result is positive.

Man, that was a hard watch. We have nowhere to go when we have the ball. I think Page is going to be very important for us, but right now Soumare is a 1-man midfield with Page and Skipp in there 🥴. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’d also get Daka on for his mobility. Ayew is just so easily closed out as his lack of pace and energy make it soooo easy to defend against him when he’s a lone striker.

We could see definitely do with the quality of Winks and Bilal on the pitch.

Stifling them really well but aside from Fatawu we have no creativity at all 

Through no fault of his own I would bring off Stephy for Monga, purely for the fact hes more direct and would give Birmingham a bit more to think about (however I get Stephy has hardly seen the ball whatsoever) 

Bring Daka on for Ayew to get in behind their backline

Overall I reckon weve done well to keep them quiet, just need to be less predictable going forward

Take Skipp off, move Mav as a 10, Daka on upfront and swap Ayew for Monga. Or take Soumaré off for Winks.

If it says anything at all, it HAS to show the board we need a more agile and capable striker. Fine having Ayew around if he's not gonna be sold, but he cannot be our starting striker every game after Monday. 

 

Lone striker isn't his forte. Not even close. Have him support a striker fine. But anything other than that no thanks.

Pre goal I thought we were pressing higher and it looked okay.

 

Our defensive shape has been good and Hamza does okay as a right back at this level. 
 

It’s just the playing around in the box seems extreme.

Page struggling a bit but he's just starting his career right in the thick of it and he has an assist.  

 

Hamza good, Centre Backs, ok.

Each to their own but Im interested to know why you feel this way about Thomas? Hes done nothing wrong for me that half
