He’s is genuinely the worst striker we have ever had. No idea if he has any ability because he just can’t be ****ed to even pretend to want it.

Trevor Benjamin or Mark De Vries genuinely would be our first choice right now, wouldn’t they? 🥹

My expectations were low but holy f*** he's terrible. From Vardy to this must be the biggest downgrade since Pearson to Sousa.

Both good looking though

Tricky Trev is head and shoulders above him and Daka.

Dreadfully weak. Time and time again caught on his heels when the ball was played in to the box, absolutely zero desire to get across his man and attack the front post.

I thought he looked the part when signed, but doesn’t even do this now.

Offers little when pressing, hold up play and movement are levels below what we need. Still put him above Daka and that’s saying something.

When you get your chance to show you should be the main striker, at least put the effort in and do everything you can to impress the manager and crowd. Thought he looked distinctly poor and whilst Daka is also poor, he does at least put the effort in.

What did people expect from a player that couldn't even make it at Feyenoord?

Feyenoord are a huge club and currently Europa League level... reluctant to use him failing there as the bar.

He does look worryingly ineffective in our team though (probably not helped by the system we insist on playing) and it's not a good sign that I don't even know what sort of player he is, or what his main strengths are

Just like Daka and Ayew, he just needs a run of games to find some form.

You need to give one of them a run of games. Daka has had his chance(s), Ayew has had his chance, now it should be Carrenza given extended time to try and build partnerships. It isn’t looking good for the lad but there’s no realistic alternative until January.
