Reminds me of Wayne Clarke, anonymous, not involved in the game but reliably informed / rumoured if a chance comes his way he’ll score. We used to call him corner flag because they had a similar amount of movement.

I do remember Akinbyi. Painful stuff. I was referring to Caranzza being the worst of our current strikers, but I would genuinely take Akinbyi over him. AA was quick, strong and had movement. In fact, he'd be the best of our forwards as he'd help create some chances (which he would then waste), something our current lot literally cannot do.

Sobering thought 10 years ago its was Vardy and Premier league title contenders. Step forward 10 years and it's Caranza and league 1 relegation contenders. It's just so sad as a fan when your club is such a big part of your life.
