I’d say having a bloated squad is different to having a truly awful squad but I get what you're saying..

Bloated, awful and imbalanced all link in for me. In theory, we probably have a reasonably balanced squad, 3 GK’s, 4/5 CB’s (when Souttar is fit), 2 LB’s, 4 CM’s, 2/3 AM’s, enough wingers, 3 st’s.

But yeah, I get your point. New signings now would bloat the squad and we have so much deadwood still, we need to shift before we buy really.

It's unlikely we'll sign anyone in Jan but if we do, absolutely every penny of the budget needs to go on a striker.

We simply cannot continue to operate without a striker capable of hitting double figures.  It's ridiculous.

Dom Ballard at Leyton Orient in League one might be one to watch out for.

6 goals in 7 games at 20 years old.

They paid somewhere between £500k and a mil in the summer. Southampton probably insisted on a sell on fee so Leyton Orient will want a decent amount for him. Guesstimate at least £3m. Unless we are unloading players, feels unlikely we'll have cash to spend.

Montpellier had to pay for Maupay. Not sure they'll let him go for free so again likely we'll have to sell before we can reinvest unless they'll agree a six month loan to just get him out the club.

We need a miracle !

we need to ship out the Schitt !!

we need Top to actually give the manager a nice war chest !

We need Rudkin out !!

We need Free Beer to soften the blow of watching Schitt performances week in week out !!

Have I missed anything??

I've said it before, but Kieron Bowie from Hibs. Young, tall, powerful striker who would be good foil for our wingers. Far from the finished article but will improve.

He flopped at Fulham, but Harry Kane didn't look like a world beater at Leicester at a similar age! :D

Here's an obligatory YouTube video

Would probably cost about £5m so we probably can't afford him, but I'd hope we can spend something after selling as many of our bellends as possible.

He seems in favour Awoniyi has barely played, is he injured or out of favour?

Getting a shot close to goal would be a big help

IF we are in and around the top 3-4 I would be splashing 20M plus on a striker to get us up.

Looks like that's £20million we are going to save, We are a mess. :(

Rumours are the Evan Ferguson loan at Roma to be cancelled. We should be all over this if it happens.

One goal since November 2023 by the way.
