Big question lads - do I, as a 41 year old bloke, wear the pink shirt tommorow in public. It would be the pinkest thing I've ever worn.

Feel like I need to be brave for the team, could inspire them and make the difference.

I don't look to fat but there is a smuggling peanuts issue.

I would say our midfield is one of the strongest if not the strongest. Grimes runs the show from DCM, Torp and Rudoni in front and always looking at shooting and getting in the box with Mason-Clark and Sakamoto tying players in knots. Add to this we have Van Ewijk who loves running past players from RB. Between them they have 7 goals and 6 assists in the league.

If you manage to stop them we still have Wright up front. He has 5 goals so far. If we need even more pace we can bring on Thomas-Asante who has 2 goals and 2 assists.

Hopefully as you're at home you will try to attack. We've had 2 sides try to attack and 3 play with their backs to the wall. Scored 12 against the 2 attacking sides and drew the other 3.

You lads might be tired after playing in Newcastle last night though?

A four hour flight away from Leicester at the moment and will be watching tomorrow in some naff sports bar, nervous as anything. Derby day football - big test of where we are at

I’ve listened to @Ric Flair warcry this arvo and just booked my seat for tomorrow. The establishment does two litre ‘boots’ of beer. Telling Swedes (man marking them aeound the pool cos they are so damn good looking) Coventry won the paint pot and they thought I was describing some folk story fron the Viking era

There’s probably no one better than Winks at this level, and James isn’t bad either. So those pair together should be decent.

Hopefully Marti doesn’t handicap us like every game so far and waste 45 minutes.  He should never start Skippmare again.

JJ, Monga, Ricardo and Winks to start and hopefully we play decent football.

Stol

Ricardo

Vesty

Okoli (He needs a proper run of games imo and I felt sick typing Faes)

Thomas

Winks

Hamza

James

Mavididi

Ayew

Fatawu

Carranza and Monga to get plenty of minutes.

It’s a shame that we’re going into this game with Skipp and Soumare as our established midfield duo. At some point MC will surely realise he has to change it and bring in Winks, James or both.

Even if Winks and James start this game they won’t have built up an understanding or have any momentum. I suspect, however, that they won’t start.

We’ve got away with playing S&S so far this season to some extent, but CCFC are a step up in quality. I worry this is the game we’ll be truly found out and it might take a few more before Marti makes the obvious changes required.

This is where we have the advantage this season. We had plenty of offers but didn't sell anyone we wanted to keep. They know how each other play. We have struggled for years with selling our best players and starting anew each season. We might struggle a bit when the injuries start coming but we have money to spend in January.

We will both find out a lot from this game. If either side is easily better than the other they will be looking good for 2nd place. We haven't played anyone decent yet.

Yeah but you have 1 trophy in 142 years and still to this day haven’t managed a sell out at the RICOH.

Mind the gap.

Always in our shadow.

😂

The only thing stopping sellouts is the gap they want between home and away supporters.

Mind the gap? We will see tomorrow. You got a fantastic Prem win and an FA cup win but it's all in the past now. Live in the past if you like. The most important is the present. It's just like those who try to pretend it isn't a big game tomorrow. They're just preparing for a defeat just in case.

I hope Cov have 24 thousand shots. I hope they are absolutely purring over their “superb midfield” because when we do beat them one nill after a Jordan Ayew scuffed shot, it will feel even better.

Beating Cov is not about two teams playing well and the best team winning.

We must humiliate them, that’s either by playing the off the park or a smash or grab. Any other sort of victory is just not worth it :D

I am so looking forward to this

A smash and grab at home? 🤔

I hope you want a game of football. If you play attacking football it could easily be 5-4 either way.

I hope we win and don’t give a shit about the performance

Gap between away and home end doesn’t explain the lack of attendances above 31,400 despite the capacity being 32,600.

We have a gap either side of the away end (not just one side) and still manage to get regular attendances close to the 32,200 capacity figure.

Gap will still be huge regardless of the result tomorrow.

Even without the FA Cup, Prem and shield we still have a lot more trophies than you lot, not to mention European football.

Enjoy the game👍🏼

Just drove back down for this. Not been back for a few months, but didn't need a map - got out the car and there are flags on lamp-posts everywhere and everyone looks like this.

Definitely Leicestershire, welcome home. :scarf:
