This team to start on Saturday please..

Probably our best starting 11 subject to Carranza who will need to adapt - not in a month of Sundays will this be Saturdays team though - may take some defeats for him to recognise the need to change so many players !

I live in Burbage and there is tonnes of Cov fans in Hinckley and the surrounding area, and at my workplace - so I'd rather us beat Cov than Forest or Derby tbh.

I don’t think I know any or have ever really known any Cov fans, and with how little we had actually played them in the 10 years or so before we came back down they never really bothered me as a club (until how they were all over social media when they beat us in 23/24)

Being from North West Leicestershire it has always been Forest and Derby fans around me

Hope we're really fuching fired up for this one, fans & players alike.

I want to see as a minimum the players fighting for every single thing out there. Hope Kingy get's across how big this game actually is now.

have Cov ever won at the KP?

No. Last time they beat us here was at Filbert Street, think they did the double of us.

We cannot start with a pair of Skipp and Soumare ever again we have more than enough evidence yet again it will never work, i want Marti to succeed but this will literally be his downfall if he continues.

I've woken up with acute anxiety and heart palpations about this. I deplore this fixture, cannot comprehend a defeat and i'm extremely worried. Been peering out the curtains all morning, panicking.

Dreading it, don’t think I will be frequenting the village pubs for a few weeks if it goes wrong. My Coventry mates are ultra confident.

I'm coming up from Somerset , staying with family in hinkley ( to get the full beautiful midlands experience) and then off to the match with the kids in tow. We better fvcking win 😬😬😬

Did alright at Oxford last Saturday, endless running, scored.  Daka would have fallen over.

Picking between Ayew and Daka is like two bald men fighting over a comb to be honest so I’m not going to die in a ditch on which one is better. Ayew is technically a better player, but I feel the team (not the individual) plays better with Daka leading the line.

Daka scored 7 in 20 last time we were in the Championship, which I’m guessing is a goals per game ratio that Ayew has rarely achieved throughout his entire career. I’m hoping, however, that Carranza is able to step up as it’s going to be a long season with either Daka or Ayew as our main number nine. Ether Carranza is the man or the rest of the team are going to have to cover the striker deficiency.

According to the 'when you're smiling' podcast and interviewing Ayew.. The interviewer was saying Ayew was smiling when the Cov game & midland rivalry was mentioned.

Seems he is going to be up for this game. (Ayew spoke well in the interview, i saw a different side to him)..

Therefore LCFC 3 Cov 2 ... Ayew with a brace :D (Monga with the 3rd)

Same. Lived in Burbage/Hinckley all my life and full of cov fans. We simply have to win this my life will be insufferable if we don't

I detest these scum bags always have, make it a bit easier when you see the hatred they have for us tbf, definitely more hatred towards us then any other club

Think we'll lose. Rank these above Derby now in terms of rivalry, quite liked that the last time we were in this league there seemed to be a bit of bite to the games.

But I don't get consumed by it the same way as whenever we play Forest – it was just never particularly drilled into me that Cov are a proper rival, part of the county I'm from definitely a factor. The spicier the fixtures get the more it might become more of a thing.

It'll be Ant and Dec in the ****ing middle again jogging around like they're wearing suits of armour.
