Feel like we’re not far off getting the starting 11 spot on.

Storlarczyk

Ricardo

Faes

Vestergaard

Kristiansen

Winks

James

Fatawu

Ayew
Monga

Carranza

I think that’s pretty spot on👍🏻

4-3-3

Storlarczyk

Ricardo.

Faes.

Vestergaard.

Kristiansen.

Choudhury.

Winks.

James.

Fatawu.

Carranza
Mavididi

Subs: Begovic. Okoli. Thomas Soumare Skipp BDCR. Monga Ayew. Daka.

Need to combat these, away from home, with a strong midfield performance.

Need to win this one to keep up a 2ppg to be in with a shot of automatic promotion, another draw will do us no good even at this early stage of the season.

Ricky P

Vestergaard

Faes

Thomas

James

Monga

Winks

Abdul

Ayew

Carranza

Think Stephy needs dropping, but wouldn't be averse to seeing him play more centrally. That said, if Ayew is on the pitch he's gotta be in the 10 role - I'd rather not see him constantly drifting to the wings and slowing the play down.

With who's currently available that's about the best 11 we can put out.

But...... I have this horrible itch that Ayew would  have me pulling my already thining hairline out further in the 10 position, if we had to witness  his back passing antics on the edge of the oppositions 18yd box or falling over for a free kick, and in turn killing momentum, when a pass out wide or through ball to "hulian" is required.

Just saying like..

I’m fully expecting the gaffer to keep seeing where the issues are

Ricardo , faes and winks in for hamza , Okoli and skipp was 💯 correct

im expecting kristenson in for Thomas and either carranza or daka for Ayew

soumare will keep his place for now but every chance James takes it and Ramsey plays when back from suspension

This is the second of two challenging fixtures at this level. Like Coventry, they will be looking to compete for a top six place again this season. I can see Friday's game being our third straight draw.

Ideally I’d love to see:

                   Stolarczyk

Ricardo Nelson Vestegaard Thomas

                James.   Winks

Fatawu.           Ayew.            Mavididi

                       Carranza

It may well be that team except for Nelson, who won't be in the squad.

Worth noting to people that 3 game weeks are coming up. They'll be rotation in these games without a doubt!

Fair point. Expect we might see a bit of rotation over the next three games. Away at WBA looks to be the harder of the 3 fixtures, so wouldn’t surprise me to see Marti stick with the same XI, with more changes midweek at home to Wrexham.

Vs WBA (a)
Stolarczyk; Ricardo, Faes, Vestergaard, Thomas; Winks, Soumaré; Fatawu, James, Mavididi; Ayew

Vs Wrexham (h)

Stolarczyk; Hamza, Okoli, Vestergaard, Thomas; Winks, James; BDCR, Page, Monga; Carranza

If rotation happens it needs to be the home game against Wrexham. We need to be at our strongest going to WBA.

Interesting.

Did you watch the game on Saturday and think that Hamza justified selection ahead of Ricky P??

Hamza is an accident waiting to happen ... the further up the field he plays the safer we are

I think Hamza only really works well as an inverted RB. He gives wingers way too much space as a conventional fullback. And he doesn't help in the attack.

I do hope so.

Luke is probably a slightly better defender (when not in a one on one situation, at which times opponents just breeze past him)

But VK, at this level, brings the necessary energy and physicality. Plus, personally I'm keen to see what the lad can do when not playing in a car crash of a team. Confidence can do amazing things.

Carranza for ayew would be my only change

Agreed.  I think those that say Ayew is not a nine and should play behind the striker would soon find out that he is not a ten either.

VL has done nothing to earn that spot. Nothing.

Our lack of goals? In one whole game?

Hope Carranza makes a start against the Baggies he looked decent when he came on last week can see him being very useful upfront for us over this season, he certainly knows where the goal is and looks a handful !
