Wasn't she the only prem CEO to stand against some crazy crap during covid too? Pay per view games or something like that?

Mad how on Thursday she was the devil and now Vardy's said some nice things the tide has changed. Yes our club is a mess but the fans have become more fickle than ever before.

Then charged us £10 to watch each Friendly last year. I don't quite get how the same CEO was in charge for both decisions.

Such heartfelt statements from first Vardy and now Nige is really a kick in the teeth for Rudkin and by extension Aiyawatt. I can’t imagine Nige has much time for Aiyawatt, seems more of a Vichai man, probably can’t stand entitled nepo babies!

I’d like to hope on the back of the last couple of social media posts that the penny has dropped that the very least inept of the 3 running the show has admitted defeat here. Sure she’s been complicit in some bad decisions here, but I think we’re (somehow) a lot worse off right now than we were.

I’m starting to wonder if she has or has she been completely frozen out? I guess we won’t know.

I don't start thinking more of her or go back on what I've said about her failures just because people who were very well paid under her are saying nice things.

They all say the same about Top and we have had a few come out and say nice things about Rudkin too.

It is very telling that they've felt the need to use words like shocked though. It's clearly not a resignation that's just come at the right time in her career as she goes on to pastures new. She's been forced out and they're coming out backing her.

Taking everything else away, the CEO of an organisation having to sit the row behind the owner and his haemorrhoid whenever top Is in attendance tells you everything you need to know.

Top probably needs Rudkin sat next to him so he can ask which way we are shooting

This is quite telling isn't it.

It's not your normal response to someone stepping down from a job. If a manager gets the sack and it's a shock, they don't all come out of the woodwork like this.

Think they might be speaking out against Rudkin and Top.

certainly making me think about who should and who should not be in leadership roles at the club......when Sir Nigel talks I listen and I may well have got it totally wrong on Susan Whelan

Being a good egg and a deeply flawed CEO aren't mutually exclusive..

Pearson's posts hints at her cultural obedience to KP. And his post doesn't disqualify that she signed off on financial disasters.

I disagree with his views on her business acumen. What kind of businessperson despises selling tickets to its customers? Refuses to engage with large local businesses? As for the retail, I've seen dozens of examples on here of attempting to buy clobber and the link not working. Business wise, the her stewardship was a shambles.

I do accept tho that she's likely to be a good diplomat, a decent person and loyal to her immediate team, up and down the chain.

Shares his thoughts on Susan Whelan

Susan Whelan, a blonde woman in her 50s with shoulder-length hair, wearing a gray tweed blazer, white blouse, and dark pants, sits smiling in the blue seats of King Power Stadium. The green football field and stadium structure are visible in the background. Text overlay on the image reads Reflecting on Susan Whelan news Just want to say a big thank you for all the support and help she has provided for me and Leicester time at the club The amount of energy passion and her work is Unmatched and goes without saying her love and loyalty for the club The good times and memories we shared over the years will be unforgettable Good luck for the future X.

The key thing and difference here is 3 legends at lcfc have come out on their own accord and heaped praise on her - whether they are well paid or not is meaningless

Meh. They'd say same about Top. Everyone gets a free pass with the players of that era despite the wheels well and truly falling off.

She's the CEO and she's seen all this shit happen. If she deserves praise for all the trophy wins, she deserves criticism too.

For me that was a public display of disrespect to Susan. Rumours were she didn't get invited to Tops wedding, but Rudkin was. I think this resignation or sacking (dont know which) has been on the cards for a while. I dont even know how involved she has been at the club since Top took over. Susan always was a Vichai appt and it seems she's slowly been marginalised since his death.

I don't know Susan, and clearly there have been mistakes over the years, but I am inclined to trust the instincts of Nige and Wes.  If they think this is a loss to the club, I suspect they are right.
