I always thought what are the manager and coaches seeing in this guy when they use to bring him on to try and change the game. Not enough pace and couldn't take on a player like Monga could. Opens up a squad place for a youngster with promise

One less waste of money off the books. He got paid decent money for what was a workout at the gym.

Hamza, Skipp and Faes next please.  Hamza isn’t even good enough to have tenuous links to the Saudi league.

He was absolutely rubbish in League One for Wigan and was suddenly getting minutes for us last season.

Found the whole thing so bizarre

Whenever I seen him play was only one putting a shift in for us.

Genuinely crap. Maddening that he got minutes ahead of more talented youth players simply because he was willing to run around a bit.

Says a lot about the state of the club that he was played 19 times for us last season.

Never really saw why Cifuentes included him, didn’t really seem to offer much and there were far better prospects that could/should have been bloodied instead of him.

Because Cifuentes was a blithering useless halfwit who knew less about football than the average person down the pub

He scores a hat trick vs us now lol

I don’t know who’s more stupid us offering him a new deal or another club in league 1 interested in signing him.
Dreadful player.

Depends on the level of the club, m sure newly promoted clubs in the league might see it as a good signing for them

Presumably we are entitled to compensation?

I assume so, from the FA website: In the event of a player, who is under the age of 24 prior to 30th June 2026, not accepting an offer of re-engagement and subsequently signing on contract or non-contract terms for a new Club in England, the two Clubs must agree a compensation fee.

Which was probably one of the reasons we offer him a contract.
