Oh absolutely they would have better off putting it on the website for a fiver a shot.

It literally makes no sense to me at all why they would go to the effort for basically 400-500 fans

There are absolutely not 400 people in the photo they put up, and that's a photo with club staff padding it out because it didn't sell.

Just shows the total apathy that has filtered down from the owner.

Did anyone spot Alan Carr in one of the pictures too lol

People attending clearly have more money than sense. Cost of living crisis probably hasn't hit them as hard as others...

Our daughter suffered an horrendous knee injury a couple of years ago, playing hockey. Her kneecap pulled her away with her ligaments, resulting in two surgical procedures.

During rehab, she then suffered an ACL tear. Resulting in more surgery.

She was on the England pathway but has had her dream of making it as a pro taken away. In fact, she isn’t playing any sport at the moment.

We, as a family, went last night, hoping to inspire her not to give up on her recovery. Hearing someone else’s story that she feels connected too, might provide the nudge she needs.

Last night won’t be for everyone, but why mock?

The club deserve a lot of criticism (on and off the field) but this was a positive thing it was doing within its community.

Until they say they’ve donated the profits it absolutely wasn’t.

I hope your daughter recovers well and finds something she’s just as excited by in the future :)

Mate, I'm first in line to mock our away support and the lemons who seems to occupy the front 20 rows round the whole KP. But, I agree with you entirely.

It was a rare moment KP have 'allowed' fan player interaction. A nice story. An evening away from the gloom. Dunno why everyone is so keen to take the piss. I'd guess it was a harmless and friendly and wholesome night out.

Yeah I’m a big KP hater but I wasn’t as annoyed as most about this.

Would have been a bit more community minded if they’d just charged £5, pay what you want or a donation to Vichai foundation or something

I suspect it could be a bit of ego massaging in an attempt to get him to at least stick around until the end of the season and not try to force a move back to the Premier League in January

As shit as it would be for us as matchgoing fans, it would actually be incredibly funny from a "f**k the board" perspective if he turned around and did that now.

I doubt it. Pretty sure the club would be happy to sell in January without replacing him, if any half decent offer is received.

I'd put good money on them scrambling out a statement about donating funds now by the way, usually been the way it happens this year.

Read criticism on here.... follow instructions.... make themselves look like it was the plan all along.

I still can't wrap my head around this.

Am I being mean to suggest Fatawu in no way deserves this kind of treatment? A special documentary for returning from injury? Not even Vardy got that when he left. None of the 15/16 got treated like it. Andy King, club legend through so much got... fvck all.

He's played short of 70 games for us. He's not scoring at Haaland/Kane levels so he's crucially important. He's not scored goals that have changed the course of our history. It's weird.

I just don't get it. At all.

Just screams self indulgent to me.

Worth watching Hannah Cain's doc on YouTube as well

Funnily enough, I can see it being the case that the club legally can't release a Vardy 15/16 film because someone already optioned it.

Lots of mean spirited sneering on here about this I see. I imagine this would appeal to families with young kids and an experience they'll probably cherish.
