Popular Post honeybradger Posted 25 October 2025 Popular Post Posted 25 October 2025 (edited) Ill be honest i dont want a new manager. All that is going to happen is that someone comes in who is not familiar with these players and passes out a fresh round of clean sheets. We need to persist with a manager who has gotten familiar with how terrible this squad is and understands that it needs gutting. (or grows to understand that the squad needs gutting, which is what im sure is happening in Cifuentes's mind at the moment) Also the additions of Ramsey and James are two of the few positives we have had so far, I'm worried we bring in a Cooper type manager who just brings in more trash that needs to be shifted. Get him out and I would genuinely get Brussel in, he knows how to get out this league but even with him we literally don’t have anyone who knows how to put the ball in the net I was with you until the bit in bold... The bloke is a weapons grade b3ll3nd, a B-Tec clone of Rodgers, He is not and never will be the answer. 1

em9999 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 It's above his head , I don't think he has a clue on what to do .. Should really be put out of his misery sooner rather than later 2

STUHILL Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Time to roll the dice already. I get that we should also blame Top, Rudkin and the players, but that shouldn't excuse what we are seeing from Cifuentes. We are getting worse week by week under his Management, or lack of. Roll the dice, and hope we get lucky and something clicks with the next guy. Look at Lampard FFS, it sometimes just works with a particular Manager and squad.
dylanlegend Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Says the right things but very uninspiring. Forgot how bad the strikers are, our xG is always so low we create so little
dmayne7 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Should be far too early for him to go given the mess of the club and how every manager is set up to fail. But he's sure doing some good work in speeding things up in that direction.

Lambert09 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 The reason he needs to go is that the solutions are available and he’s ignoring them. The pure energy we would get from Evan’s, Nelson and aluko would lift the club. I’m not sure how everyone can see that except him. I’d be more patient if he’d tried these lads and they had failed in some way, like I can forgive dropping Page as he didn’t take his chance.
HankMarvin Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 (edited) Was he reading from a autocue “We want to be a team that try’s to play attacking football” that philosophy clearly got lost when he got the job here Edited 25 October 2025 by HankMarvin

Patrick Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 We need new ownership and new players. I'm not blown away by Marti, but I think even Pep Guardiola would struggle to get a tune out of these players.
Tielemans63 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Shit ownership, shit manager and shit players. There's only one loser here.
JimJams Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 (edited) I don't know what the problem is to be honest. He's clearly identified that we were drawing too many games and he's made massive strides to rectify that in the last few games. Edited 25 October 2025 by JimJams

UniFox21 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Remember we have a points deduction potentially inbound, relegation isn't out the picture 3

LCFCJohn Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 The problem is, it would just be someone like Russel bloody Martin and we’d be just as bad. The club is on the slide, the owner and DoF are responsible and whilst they are making decisions and persisting with the way of playing, we will fail. I have never really agreed with those saying it, and of course it could never be the same without Shakey. But if he was well enough, I would take Pearson. We need someone who understands this club, and how to build a club back up. As bad as it is, we still have the opportunity to rebuild with a lot of contracts up next summer and others the year after. Mainly just Skipp and Thomas (due to the new contract) of the ones we want out who will be left. Maybe VK as well? And the academy doing well. There is the opportunity to turn it round if we want to.

Patrick Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Any replacement will be yet another yes man appointed by Aiyawatt and Rudkin. Remember that. 1
