It doesn't mean anything, but I thought I'd make the announcement and it's closest news we've got to actual manager news He was 3/1 morning, so a bit of money has gone on him and there's be no change with the other 3 being talked about (Rowett, Martin & Smith), so perhaps it might be something.

I reckon they're using this to raise funds for next year in league 1.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 15 February Posted 15 February If we can't get Pearson back...I'd go for Ralf Hasenhuttl. His Southampton team played great direct football and he did great with the average players he had available.
Popular Post CarolinaFox Posted 15 February Popular Post Posted 15 February King Power have created a situation where our options are far more limited than they should be. If they’d moved on from Marti earlier and had a technical director in place, we wouldn’t be 20+ days without a manager. The delay is just a symptom of the wider chaos caused by a board with obvious structural issues. No technical director, no CEO, points deductions, and an owner who seems incompetent, indecisive, or some mix of both — it’s not exactly an appealing setup for any manager. On Pearson: he’s one of the few who could come in with enough authority to cut through the mess and force some accountability. But that’s also why I doubt they’d choose him. Bringing in someone who demands standards only works if the people above him actually want to meet them. 5

Chrysalis Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Argument with Rooney over contract length. Rooney has agreed to the requirement, there must be 100 passes before the ball leaves our third, and then another 200 before a shot on goal. 1

I wish more people would realise that this is actually what has happened and the bookies don't know more than any of us. At the end of the day they balance the odds so that the ones getting the most money placed will receive the least, though they definitely gamble a little when rumours come out, to sucker people to put money on an unlikely outcome.
EnderbyFox Posted 15 February Posted 15 February (edited) I’m almost certain it’ll be Rowett, I just don’t understand why we haven’t sorted it sooner. We are no longer a big enough pull for Hassenhutl, Dean Smith won’t leave a cushty job in the US for this dire situation Rudkin is terrified of Pearson, Skubala probably thinks he’s more likely to be in the championship with Lincoln than us next year. Russell Rylan Martin would cause riots in the city centre That leaves Rowett, just hurry up and get it done ffs Edited 15 February by EnderbyFox
Aleksz Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Genuinely think they’re going to get desperate and pick up the phone to Nigel to either come and do it outright or on a looser basis to help King. By desperate I mean from their own point of view that they never entertained the idea in the first place, not the fans standpoint.
lgfualol Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Don’t want Pearson, poor bloke’s health has been bad enough, I dread to think of what even a training session with the likes of Ayew and Thomas would do to him. 4
