When was the last time he attended a game?

Not long after the “speech”. Teddy throwing gate.

Weirdly didn’t come over on his own plane for once.

Before that was Wrexham at home and he was in the country for some other business anyway.

Maybe he’s avoiding the toxicity at the KP that his regime has created.

Maybe tell the truth, that we have zero money to spend and are financially up shite creek.

Even if that was the case - it would never be publicly known until the last minute - would disrupt our supply chain, lenders and any asset we have player or otherwise would be up for grabs on the cheap.

I think if you have half a brain you can see the pattern of what is unfolding here

The jokes write themselves. Surely her surname isn't actually Disney.

Blaming COVID for the business going to shit is getting a bit lame now. It was nearly 6 years ago.

Same people that use the… ‘we was in league 1 once remember’

Critical thinking non existent

“King Power as a business has been suffering since COVID” - yeah Top absolutely couldn’t run a business (a monopoly mind you) into the ground could he?

Thai tourism numbers are at the same level as 2016-2017. Europe travel retail spending is up. All regions have caught up to 2019 travel retail levels (besides Asia).

Only thing that’s changed is the man in charge of the business.

I think that Newcastle fan made the point quite nicely a few weeks ago on here that you're just never going to get everybody on side. There is quite literally nothing he can do wrong with these people. We're just going to have to go without them and so be it. They're not really a big miss if this is what they're offering. They're fascinating to me nontheless - I don't come across anybody really like this anymore either. I'm finding more and more casual times, less invested than people on here are definitely turning even if they're not hugely passionate about it. There've been people I know of suggesting he needs to sell up that I feared would've been blinded in the way this lot are - so there is some hope yet at least.

Ultimately if they don’t get it by now, they’re either incapable of getting it, or are choosing not to.

You’re right - you rarely see or come across these people. The reality is depressing though - I think there’s more of them than there are of us.

I actually don't. I think they're a loud minority in the same way we probably are as well. It's a bit like politics - I think the majority of our fanbase are akin to swing voters, and I do think plenty of those are swinging our way without being vociferous about it. I play football with some quite older fans of ours on Thursdays and always think they're a quite interesting barometer and they're mostly anti at this point. I just think it's kind of inevitable. The performance level we serve up currently hasn't been acceptable as pretty much any point in our history. With what we serve up pound for pound and the inevitable further decline that's going to happen I do think it's very realistic that we hit our lowest ever point soon, and I just don't see how the vast majority of the 'swing' types would deem it anything other than a farce.

Was thinking about the success we have was kick started by the 2 appointments of Pearson. If I remember correctly the 2nd appointment birch recommended NP to the owners the 2nd time. Maybe based luck rather than planning.

I take your point but the proof is in the (apathetic) pudding.

The atmosphere at home is completely accepting of the situation we are in. When the fanbase genuinely feel something - they show it.

Cooper for example - he was actively booed by all corners. Has there ever been genuine unison behind the Rudkin out/top out chants? I’d suggest not…
