The good news is there will still be enough food and drink for the club to charge fans £7 for a beer, £3.50 for a cup of tea and £6 for a sausage roll :scarf:

Tbf this isn't the club's fault. It's the fans paying these prices and then clapping full of joy like seals.

So possibilities:

1 it’s fake

2. we are skinter than a skint thing on a skint day.

3. Mrs warehouse manager think this is what a CEO does - saves money.

4. we are in the latter stages of a takeover and with a fee now agreed, Top is unwilling to put any more money into the club.

Same as the last thing that came out, why would someone make it up? It's an incredibly niche thing to fabricate.

if I’m not mistaken, about 2 months ago we had a couple of people on here saying they were hearing very bad things about the state of the club, but they would not elaborate. If you add that, the late change on Christmas pay and this, then it’d point to number 2

Got to be a fake. Doesn’t even sound professional

Either it’s fake or they’ve handed over internal communications to somebody with no grasp of English grammar, which would be a weird thing to do but not necessarily surprising given the way we seem to operate. However I’m inclined to believe it’s fake.

Penny pinching usually means something greater. These food vouchers wouldn't amount to 30 seconds of the players salaries each day.

To be clear this is quite blatantly not a money problem.

This is another one of the many problems we have baring it's face, piss poor organisation.

This is such a niche issue that I think it’s incompetence rather than a cash flow issue else there would be much bigger issues than this. Not good though.

Would agree, this feels like a piss poor oversight. A real management cock up when taken with recent missteps.

I'm a little suspicious of the fact the email has come through as "stewards" and the continued capitalisation of stewards in the email

It’s possible it’s come from a team leader of the stewards, rather than directly from the top office…. Shit rolls downhill after all, which may explain the casual email.
