I would just change the fact that we went to Aldi expecting there to be some for 30% off but there wasn't any there so we tell all our mates that we went to M&S to look at Blueberries.

We're getting no one. If there's one thing Rudkin's good at it, it's deflecting blame onto others. Already they're saying its Marti's decision. 1
FosseSpark Posted 20 January Posted 20 January close the thread. I mean ffs. what a bag of shite. 1 1
Spudulike Posted 20 January Posted 20 January Local Swedish journo reckons that Gais have already got Diabate's replacement lined up (Canadian apparently with the same attributes). Perhaps we should go for him instead. £1.8m for a permanent deal. Just waiting for Cifuentes to authorise. 2

Tuna Posted 20 January Posted 20 January Owynn asked Marti about him on RL and he wouldn't comment on it. He did say hopefully there would be some movement in/out of the club for Saturday.

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 21 January Posted 21 January The "talks have broken down" tweet is due anytime now. Then Antony will drip feed another rumour to a journo with 4 or 5 days of the window to go and that'll get us to the line, but obviously no one will actually sign. People will be surprised.

It's a pretty obscure journalist for the club, would get that view more if it was a England-based journalist or one of the major ITKs. I think this is a genuine link but the club is a mess - I think you're giving them too much credit for suggesting they're being as sneaky as this!
Foxmeister Posted 21 January Posted 21 January £1.8m seems like a decent deal to me, I heard on the radio he's costing the NHS £13b a year. 1 3
coolhandfox Posted 21 January Posted 21 January I suspect that his a back up option and we would prefer a loan from else where.
surrifox Posted 21 January Posted 21 January I suspect this will go nowhere and the club will say nothing bit like that kid from Portugal back in the summer
Pliskin Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Speaking to my mate, he said there’s no noise within the agent world of anyone coming in…… doesn’t mean of course that they’re isn’t some going on on the sly, but it’s unusual for there to be absolutely nothing. I don’t think we will, potentially a deadline day loan for a striker.

I'm personally waiting for the tweet that says the price is too steep or something along those lines followed by a club like Preston North End signing him.
Lad1966 Posted 21 January Posted 21 January I think they are waiting for the point IC decision, if it’s a deduction of 9+ points then they will be force to act, if they are serious above us staying in the championship. Anything less then 6pt, they won’t sign anyone! 1

FoxesWalk Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Look a season further than last year and he got 1 goal in 20 games 1
Long Eaton Fox Posted 21 January Posted 21 January If we signed this guy 3 weeks ago he would be almost fit now! 1
JimJams Posted 21 January Posted 21 January Perhaps this is on hold if there's genuine interest in a loan Fofana, and this becomes the backup plan. So no doubt he'll be bought in the meantime.

Body language and general mood of the players last night right from the start of the game was absolutely shocking. Wouldn’t be surprised if they either very much suspect what’s coming or have been given some type of indication . 1
