Not happening but it’s an odd one.

Clearly massively above us in his standing as a manager. But, he is a manager for when things are going well. Even during the season with us, he struggled when things suddenly weren’t going well.

I don’t think his style nor his mentality are equipped for a struggling side, let alone a relegation battle.

One of those where a lesser manager ability/ceiling wise would be more equipped for a particular league/situation.

FFS.....oh hes just been at Chelsea of course hes going to come running back to league one ready Leicester...

Absolutely not. Limited contract until summer, don’t have the players to play his style. He has no experience of a relegation scrap = recipe for disaster

The board are clueless

“Hi Enzo, great to catch up again, congrats on the world club cup win. I appreciate you’ve left Chelsea because you grew annoyed at the ownership and were kind of openly courting possibilities at Juventus and Man City, but do you fancy popping back and helping us fight relegation to league 1? Money to spend in January?…about as much chance as you had bringing Sensi in last time!….Enzo?…Enzo?”

For him if he comes in

1. Train the crap out of Jacub and get him playing the ball out as a player

2. Will play trusted vesty in CB position

3. He knows daka is crap, will probably play bobby in old vardy position

January transfer window is gone so who can he get in 😄🙈

Said in another thread this is the Potter to Cooper rumour.

Will be Martin/Coleman/Rowett by tonight.

Agree.
But I reckon they’ll be someone else who hasn’t been mentioned yet.
It happened with Cifuentes appointment

Yes, but the circumstances between the last appointment and this, are vastly different. He wouldn't be happy with one hand tied behind his back because he has ZERO funds to work with. And like others have suggested, I don't think he has what it takes for a relegation battle.

Nay

1: I’m sick of tippy tappy possession based football.

2: we haven’t got a pot to pişs in financially.
3: all we’d be is a stepping stone for him again once a Judas always a Judas.

yes, but it's like asking if I'd consider going on a date with Margot Robbie - whether I'd be up for it isn't the deciding factor here.

He's not coming back, given his demands for us to be a professional club behind the scenes would mean that Aiyawatts only mate would lose his job
