Does anyone know if Aribo is eligible to play against Southampton....rules aren't the same as the Prem so unless it was specifically put in the terms of the loan agreement he is free to play and also isn't cup tied for the weekends match either

He can’t play against them.

I can’t say that I agree with this.

He was bombed out of their squad in pre-season.

Southampton fans are genuinely pissing themselves at someone taking him off their hands.

Not just 'someone', but their fairy godmother, Leicester City.  The club that takes all of their rubbish off their hands.

Clapped out Southampton dossers end up at Leicester City in the same way that old tories end up in Reform.

You think someone at the club after all of these years of buying and hiring crap from Southampton would realise they were crap and now we are crap.

Yet we keep doing this crap😡

All part of the Jon Rudkin sabotage.

Could have been an Andy King recommendation - given he played with him at Rangers.

Anyway - we needed to add a midfielder to the squad to see us through. It’s a short term deal that suits all parties - let’s see if works out before passing judgement, no? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thought he did okay? :dunno:

Was playing on egg shells for most of the game because of a card-happy ref - never a yellow. Despite that thought I saw more forward vision from him in 60 minutes than I've seen from Soumare in four years.

Early days yet, but I have a feeling he's going to prove to be a useful acquisition given the appalling standards we have now set for ourselves. Like I say, I actually saw him pass the ball forwards at least twice. That instantly makes him a better player than half our squad.

Passing the ball forwards what?  How dare he.  We will soon knock that out of him, disgraceful.

We could have Haaland playing for us and people would moan that he's to tall

Equally we could play a quadriplegic in centre midfield and some would exclaim "give him a chance before writing him off!"

All you can say for him is he has something to prove, so that might be a good thing if hes got the steel to actually prove people wrong. Sadly none of our other players do.

I agree. I thought with his stature he looks imposing, and did a couple of nifty quick turns to move us forwards.

I didn't see the game, lot read on here that he was poor, but have since spoken to a couple of people who thought he did ok for his 1st game and will be useful between now and the end of the season.

To say it's crap is an understatement, it can't be emphasised enough. :-)

He's got away without a mention, but he was lazy and didnt do enough to stop the cross for their 2nd goal. Just let Sorba Thomas have a free cross in to the box. That attitude needs eradicating if we are to pick up wins.

He’s rubbish, thought he was completely invisible when he came on. On his heels for his chance, had he been alive he would have scored.

Southampton fans were laughing when we signed him.

He looked unfit yesterday prpbably because he's played very little football all season.

We need to give him a chance to step up. At least he was in the Box for the chnce.

Pointless signing and yet more money wasted in wages. Knowing our amazing DOF we probably have an obligation to buy for £20m.
