I guess it's time for me to go.

When I arrived here almost 10 years ago(just after your title winning season) I came to inquire about a player you'd signed and here I still am! 

 

I think I had mentioned that my father was from Nottingham and that I didn't support Forest! 

 

No one here was bothered much about Notts County, 'cuz why would you be? You had just won the Premier League and we were relegated down to League Two and not long after, to the National League.

 

Fast forward to now and things have changed drastically. We are facing a new rivalry and one that I expect to get very nasty! 

 

Although I'm across the pond, I've already imagined driving to @Jattdoggs house and standing at the bottom of his drive and waving my finger angrily at him!

 

I just can't throw away 10 years of amicable relations with everyone here.

 

The group of guys I played Pro Clubs with, when Fifa was still actually playable and all the fine Wordlers! The music section, where I've discovered so many new bands. It will all be missed!

 

But, as it looks absolutely 100% locked on that we will complete against each other next season, I realize it is time for me to depart.

 

One big regret has always been that I didn't find this place a tad sooner. It would have been awesome to have read all the reactions here during that season where you guys did the impossible.

We have a fair amount of opposition fans here and they are most welcome. Always. You are too. You don’t have to chat in the leicester part of  forum if you if you don’t want to, but you can. Other than that. hang out in the general sport or general chat forums.

 

 

Theres no reason for you to leave.

A great neutral poster so you will be missed in the general football threads.

 

Please don't jinx County though as it's only two points ;) Would love to see you get promoted again though. It was always a massive shame for the football league when you dropped out of it.

No! I never say this usually to people who say they're going to leave, but honestly please stay, you're a valued poster and you really don't need to leave unless you want to

You've just jinxed yourself. The only thing you are guaranteed of right now is playoffs and it's tighter than a nuns backside.

 

We could be opponents next season or stay in our respective divisions still...orrrr we get relegated and you dont get promoted.

If we go down, as seems likely, a pleasant banter with a rival that we have come to know on here will be much fun.
