Credit to Rowett  this must be the fist game for a very  long time there is a sense of expectation about City's performance - and a reasonably full KP?

 

I think an unchanged team likely but JJ and Lascelles to come on. I will be very tricky to get best out out of Winks, Skipp, JJ and Mukasa, but already I have the confidence in GR to do just that. Looking ahead, I expect to see Nelson a constant either at CB or LB and two of three of Vestergaard, Lascelles, Okoli. 

 

Realistically, with talent of players in squad, if sufficient remain fit, should see us pull up the table 

 

Looks as though Norwich are short of strikers (which balances the teams?)

Would guess Fatawu for Mavididi would be the only change, with BDR moving to the other side.

 

Going forward when everyone is fit wouldn't be adverse to us playing a diamond with something like the following:

Can’t see Lascelles or James starting as they’ve only just come back. Will need them for remaining games for sure. 

Abdul in for Stephy, Bobby on the left side and Mukasa in the 10. Will have to be Daka at 9 to start. Rest of side the same but would like to see Aluko somewhere if possible.

2 of my favourite games at the KP were against Norwich in must win situations - Ulloa earthquake in 2016 and the 3-1 after we started looking very shakey in the 2024 promotion season. Tomorrow feels as important as them both, let's hope for the same outcome!

I've always felt that we have a proper football team to at least compete with any other team in the Championship. It's just always been about attitude and bottle. Results will improve massively if Rowett and Davidson have got into their heads.
