Nothing would please me more than two halves like the first half against Southampton, and Norwich getting a pasting. Our last two outings have been improvements over most of what we've seen this season, but nothing special. I'm not raising my hopes today, not with these players.

Stating the obvious, whilst draws in the last couple of games have 'stemmed the flow' and restored a degree of confidence, it is (as many on this forum have stated) wins that are needed.

Since 3-points for a win was introduced (early 1980s?) this has always been the case. For, whilst a draw is in a way positive, especially against a team on form, it must always be remembered that it is theoretically possible to be relegated from most leagues having gone through a season undefeated. For example, a Championship club drawing every fixture would end the season on 46 points. On a much smaller scale, games wise, this was seen in Group F of the 2010 World Cup, which saw New Zealand eliminated after drawing all three group games, thus eliminated whilst undefeated. In the Championship this season, the win/draw ratio is highlighted by the fact that both Oxford and Sheffield United have lost 17 games. However, due to the ratio of wins against draws, Sheffield United sit in 16th place on 45 points, whereas Oxford United are in 23rd place with 29 points and are looking at relegation. Therefore, whilst Gary Rowett has done a good job in raising morale, increasing commitment and giving at least the signs of game management, it is wins, not draws that are now needed.

The crown of King Obvious is upon my head, but I look forward to being challenged as the season moves towards its finale.

There's a lot of pressure on the players today. They need to stick together and cut out the mistakes.

Then just let the Football do the talking., We know we can score Goals.

A clean sheet and a win would be great.

Norwich are an in form team.  Norwich fan at work is really impressed with how they are playing.   Regardless of league position, a win today would genuinely be a statement and I'd have confidence we could turn this round.  I'd still take a draw today at this point.  the wins will come if we can build from a solid foundation... NOT losing is more important.

I think it's going to be another draw.

The improvement is there, but Norwich are on a decent run and I just don't think we're quite there yet.

Hope it's one we continue to build momentum either way and hoping Oxford hold or beat West Brom.

Their last 4 wins were Weds, Oxford, West Brom and Blackburn. You have to beat who’s in front of you,  it think your mate might be reading too much into it.

Must win

They've also beaten Cov, Southampton, QPR, Wrexham, Charlton... Their recent run is pretty impressive, especially compared to ours.

Didn't realise they were on quite such a good run!

Looking at the stats of the 2 losses as well youd argue they were unfortunate in both of those as well.

Ill downgrade my 3-0 prediction to a 3-1

If we put in the same afford levels as against Boro then we’ve got a chance. I can’t see us not conceding a cheap goal from an unforced error though so the forwards need to be on it. I’d like to see us play the game in their half not on the edge of our penalty box for a change.

Fveck all the negativity behind the club and w@nkers at the top.

Need to create some atmosphere like we used to every now and again.

Need a spark from the twats on the pitch to get us going...let's see what these w@nkers can do after a couple of okay away games
