Liked what Rowett said about not being a big fan of 'managing minutes'. 'They are either fit to play or not' . Old school. Expecting at least 30 mins from JJ. Could be an interesting selection on Sat.

I would start Lascelles. Rowett said in an interview the other day that he struggles to come on in matches so would rather start him and give him an hour or so and see how he is. Rowett’s style of play should suit him too.

I’d start JJ on the bench Saturday and give him 20-30 mins. No need to disrupt that area of the pitch.

My mates a Norwich fan, he can't believe the turn around since Clement came in.

However he reckons their main strike force is out so will struggle in the next few weeks to score goals

Tell him no need to worry, I'm sure one of ours will give them a helping hand.

Well to me it’s clearly a case of Nelson struggling in a crap side alongside bombscares in defence with him whereas Okoli is the bombscare. So if all the defenders are fit, it is Lascelles and Nelson no question.

I didn’t say Nelson had been great but the idea that you’d go with Okoli over him to partner Lascelles if fit is not really the call someone would make if they don’t have a grievance for some reason towards Nelson as the poster I quoted does.

Not going to say I'm confident but I am looking forward to the game which was rarely, if ever, the case under the previous 3 managers. My 2 boys and I are season ticket holders but haven't been to a game since mid December, largely because I was too disillusioned to make a 230 mile round trip to see a poorly coached and motivated team. Seen enough in the last 2 games to make me think we will at least be competitive now, so we're coming up for this one and intend to fully back the team if they continue to put in the improved effort we've seen since Rowett came in. COYF!

i’d go Nelson because he is better on the ball, but he doesn’t fill me with much confidence

Our defence when we see their strikers are out injured

We can't injure them again.

James needs to play the last 10 games of the season. Rushing him back when Winks, Skipp and Mukasa is looking like a good midfield would be a huge mistake IMO.

Make sure he's fit and then get him back after the Ipswich game.

Reckon James is on the bench.
