Every game will be intriguing in a ‘where will it go wrong today’ way

Can we go to Wycombe away and play 25 passes in our own half?

How good will the adrenaline filled full time Russ Martin fist pumps be away at MK Dons in front of 4500 fans?

How long will it take for the first groan when the ball goes back to the goalkeeper at home to Stevenage?

I’m sort of excited, in a really pessimistic, sceptical way.

And at the end of those 25 passes is Mavadidi who will once again be too scared to cross first time unmarked and wait till he is marked so he can pass back.

if we want promotion right away i think dave challinor is a better choice.  with martin i feel like it could be to establish and work towards a long term identity in terms of the play and structure.  if that's the case then i would go for John Mousinho if possible.

I'm already bored of next season

Who do we go into every season end apparently with no plan or intent?

Why wasn't a manager lined up?

No players at all lined up

Fed up of this every summer

We are not in a postion to be playing sucide football.

Pearson got us out of L1 in a completely different manner, Top and Rudkin are living in the past.

17 years ago, bit rich to talk about others living in the past. Possession football is also a very very wide branching description, it is not all "suicide football".

It's not worked for 5 years plus, worked under Enzo as we had beter players who have now left and not been replaced ?

Not from the new 4.5k happy to be there...

Not necessarily so. I know a few who have got season tickets for the first time who are firmly king power out.

I'm beginning to think I need to just delude myself that Russell will somehow find the key that allows him to deliver an entertaining version of possession football like Bologna/Leverkusen did. Is it better to be delusional that chronically unhappy at the situation?

I saw someone say on the LM that his win rate in his last 65 games is 27%. That's worse than any team outside the relegation zone in League One...

In fairness though that was with a poor Southampton team in the Premier League. Rangers was too big a job for him. He is probably a better manager than Cifuentes, and if we had him last year I’m not sure we get relegated. That’s about the most positive I can get about him, there are probably worse sideways and backwards options the board will look at, like Cifuentes.

Mckenna has resigned from Ipswich.  Obviously coming to Leicester  :dunno:

Couldn't beat two of our worst ever teams.

It’s funny when people suggest ‘other’ managers, Top and Rudkin have very little knowledge about football managers. They won’t appoint anyone even slightly outside the box. Their view will be we tried a pragmatic manager in Cooper, it didn’t work. They want to get back to one Enzo ball, or something like it.

Hopefully someone will want to buy JV from us.  We can’t have another season of him stinking out the games with his walking football, shit pass and get countered.

I think he has too much say over the style of play and control.

Yeah. Russell martin gonna be all in with JV, especially in L1. Expect another year of him standing on the ball inviting the press.
