Obviously this can't happen but you just know we'd draw 1-1 with our u23s with a late equaliser.

And we'd all be in the away end, having a great time!

Meh rather win the fa trophy than efl trophy, sorry it's competition i struggle to get excited about. I get it means a lot to some efl clubs who may never get the chance to play at wembley and win a cup. But for Leicester to go from playing in the champions league to winning the fa cup to then suddenly playing in a EFL Trophy final is come down. What makes it worse Under 23's sides play in it also, imagine Leicester v Nottingham Forest Under 23's :nono:

Wouldn't be so bad instead of Under 23's playing in this championship clubs playing in this competition also. In fact I reckon they would be more interest if that happened.

Exactly i can't imagine there will be rush for tickets when play home to one of Under 23 sides at the KP.  You could be looking at a crowd at the King Power around 2,000. For a first team Leicester game!

Let’s have it right.. there will still be 10k+ zombies prepared to clap them off

The back the lads brigade clapping the boys off after a 2 nil defeat to Forest u23s. Fold the club before that happens!

On a semi-serious note, I wonder what other two L1/L2 teams they will pair us with - Probably two of: Walsall, Burton Albion, Notts County, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Northampton or Peterborough. Makes for grim reading.

And if it’s not a game covered by a season ticket the club won’t be able to add those numbers to the actual attendance to make a farcical fabricated one as they do for league games.

Tannoy man - “For the benefit of the players our crowd today….Row A seat 215 Gary Bishop, Row F seat 104 Jenny Smith, Row K seat 47 Dave”Pie Muncher” Palmer………”

If we get to Wembley v Tranmere all the happy clapping ‘games gone mate’ types will be queuing up to go

Only if it's Tranmere. They wouldn't bother if it's Luton or Stockport.

I was always disappointed we didn't win it last time. That game at Rotherham still remains one of the worse away games I've been too (they were League Two at the time too).

We wont win it. We are dropping, fortunately losing half these cvnts but without a penny to replace them and no leadership.

I think itll be two or three seasons in league one before we finally get bought out and slowly claw our way back

Remember it well played at the Don Valley stadium,

Only exciting thing about it was watching the fireworks lighting the sky up in the distance.
