The last few weeks and certainly the last few days over social media has clearly demonstrated the clear divide amongst the fanbase between the 'back the lads/true supporter' section and the 'Completely unacceptable, deserve every thing they get' section. Last night's full time footage was as concerning (to me) as anything on the pitch - a clear mix of anger, upset, rage against a significant bunch of people clapping, looking mildly disappointed and a shrug of shoulders.

How do we even begin to bring the fanbase back together in the situation we're in? It's not like Blackburn or Sheff Weds where there's a unanimous view on the Venkys and Chansiri, and there's a concerted and agreed view on how to engage the club and make change.

How do we go about doing that, cos at the moment I can't see a way forward.

to appease the fan base then as a bare minimum Rudkin needs the chop instantly.

we need to tear up contracts for certain players and move them out ASAP.

return to a black away shirt with a light blue sash. this will solve most problems imo.

It's going to take the club going to the brink of existence before some of them even consider the well being and long term future of the club over being a super fan.

Same goes for some of the ridiculous expectations of those that are never happy with any performance ever.

I think it is a childhood issue with some people. Maybe they didn't grow up with a significant figure in their lives, a father figure or something similar, and now choose to follow Top despite what he's done to the club....almost unwavering support that a mother might have of her son who's just committed a heinous crime. That kind of stuff.

I can't understand it's any other reason.

There's a decent percentage of them that might have difficulty attending sooner rather than later.... so there's that.... lol

How can there be a divide can’t people see what’s been going on for the last few seasons, honestly don’t know how people get on in the real world if not.

There is no way this fan base is uniting!

This is where our situation is worse than any club I've ever seen because it is fans v fans

Every other club it has been fans v club

Realistically the fans won't unite until the club is run properly again - the number protesting the owners will continue to grow, but the stubborness of those that support him look unbreakable

If Top doesn't leave he has to make changes to the running of the club

Not lie about board changes and then promote those responsible for the failure

But that's just it.... there's a decent amount of people who think we should trust in the process and support the lads.

I know it sounds insane, but these people believe that, and aren't going anywhere. How do we bridge that gap???

I gave a lot of sh1t to players last few games, and the people in front of me were starting to get annoyed with me and asking how that helps. They didnt like me singing the Harry Winks song for sure. But i just spoke to them, because i cant expect them to feel the same as me.

This. This is how we do it. Talk.

First solution is simple. Sack Rudkin. That’s a universally agreed opinion.

Then this summer do a proper presentation (can be McCarron) which outlines the vision of the future. The board change release was about 10 years old its format. Do a proper video introducing the new hires not old photos of Rudkin with word salad quotes

Wednesday wasn’t for a good two to three years until it actually started to affect the playing squad

But is it? Have the 'happy clappers' been singing 'Rudkin out'? Obviously they haven't.
