Yes, though the group winner if they continued to get through would play a QF at the Azteca, possibly against Mexico if they win their group. They’ve only lost something like two competitive games in their history there.

It was like all our players finally were released, and played with freedom. Brilliant second half. What we saw was the club form of the players producing it for England

Think that's harsh, while that second half was the best I've seen from England at a WC in my 30 odd years, Southgate's era gave us an England team to believe in and get behind after a decade of utter dross.
