Look at Spurs spent an absolute fortune and still problems persist. It’s not going to be easy to turn this oil tanker around and especially when there is 6 of 7  more who need to go and at least 3 or 4 new signings

Didn’t hear much moaning as it was the year we won the championship….

Or chose not to listen. I and a few others didn't like the football from the start. Then the obvious no plan B when it stopped working after Xmas. Lots joined in.

I don't mind the style of it had end product. The team today is more suited to it especially because Thomas offers a left footed CB, Page is very good at receiving the ball, and Stol is also better than McCarthy at distributing.

But the lack of end product is so worrying. We over pass at the final play or just cut inside and run into opposition players.

Also teams at this level are dog muck. But if they score first then our slow style of play as it is right now won't turn a game around. We move it too slow and are far too easy to defend against.

I will be Martin out though soon if he keeps playing non strikers in the 9. His sub times again were shite too

Hired by the same people who will hire the next one, that's his point.

I dunno man.

I've heard a lot of people genuinely try and defend Cooper, Ruud, Marti and even Martin saying the players are just shit and it's not their fault like they're actually decent coaches.

Sick of this attitude.  This is a division of pub teams, we can't beat any out of three of the worst of them and proudly sit in 20th place. We can't just shrug and say we were unlucky.  Talk about going softly into the night.

We don't deserve to be here.  It is a scandal.  We have been badly let down by a £100m squad that downed tools on us  We still have a squad to walk this division and we need to demand more.

Yes we have been let down by a lot of players over last few years and the owners have done a shit job but you and many others seem to think this current crop of players which is pretty much a whole new team should romp the league. You hold them to the same standard as the teams we had over last 2 or 3 years. They have hardley played together they have had 3 games and your all throwing your toys out the pram. All I’m saying is give them a fare sample of games and some time before you start booing them.

Whatever way you look at it 2 points from 9 available is paltry. We need to do infinitely better results wise, even if means going direct sometimes… I would expect us to dominate a league 2 promotion winning team but not putting the ball in the back of the net is criminal, and Russell needs results otherwise he will get the boot.

Fans need to get on board with him staying.  I honestly thought it was some kind of joke when his name was merely mentioned.

He's here now, with a 3 year contract.  Calling for his head three games into a season that's seen the biggest overhaul of a squad in recent years with all of the problems he inherited, is just plain stupid.  He's going nowhere.  I fully expect he will be Top's final managerial hire.

I hate the obsession with possession and I don't think we have the players to do it well enough for long enough without making ridiculous mistakes that lead to big chances.  That said, we have actually played some nice stuff and I've seen enough to give him time.

We'll know better in 10-15 games time.  If we haven't had a decent run of wins by then, then we'll be in trouble.

Why do they? There's no doubt that he will stay but there is no reason that fans need or should get on board with it. He will continue to stink the gaff out and he'll have us at best lower mid table after 10-15 games. I hate how we're being told to give him time like he's magically going to start being an actual manager. Everybody knows who he is, how he works and how it's gone for him; he's not an unknown quantity that's finding his feet in his first job, this is just what he does and how his teams perform. With the play offs extended to the top 8 this season we can afford to sack him a little later on than normal, but if we're wanting to get automatic promotion he needs binning yesterday. Quite possibly the worst manager in the kp tenure and that's some going with the last 4

Not in League One it’s not

I’ve not called for his head and won’t yet. But that is only because it is unrealistic after 3 games and you probably have to give a manager 10 games.

But the fact that is the only reason not to call for him to go rather than any sign of him turning it around isn’t great is it.

We’ve seen what Martin is about in his previous jobs. He won’t change anything and we will continue not to win games. He is a born loser. It’s not his fault and I don’t hate him for that, but he isn’t a winner. He gets a kick out of possession and passing stats not wins. I don’t think it’s exaggerating to say you could probably have put the other 23 managers in this league in charge of that first 3 games and the vast majority, if not all, would have got more than 2 points from 9. He’s over complicating things. We play very nicely until the final 3rd when we have no final ball because half the team are all occupying the same area and there’s no options.

I’ll give him 10 games but I expect at most, 1 win in that time and I also accept automatic promotion will be out of reach by then. We will be relying on someone else to come in and actually realise the talent we have in this team and to try and make a run for the playoffs.

Let's be honest Top wants out and has no money.

Do we really think he's going to sack Martin and pay him off?

I just don't see Martin gone before we get new owners.

He’s here for the season I expect

There aren’t going to be any new owners, sorry to disappoint but there ain’t no one gonna pay £200 million for this shower and take in debt. Even getting it for free is a poor deal.,Martin is our boy Jon’s man, is here to stay.
