I am not convinced by Martin however credit where it is due, a tweak to approach and 9 points from a possible 12. They need to carry it on going forward but could we be gaining some momentum!!

Yeah - let’s just sack him. Like we sacked Rodgers, Cooper and Cifuentes. If we’d have stuck with any of them three we’d still be in the championship now. The same people saying sack him will be the same people who wanted O’Neill sacked and will be the same people who will want the next guy sacked after twelve games. Why do they even bother following the game? Just get a HR job if you hate football and like people getting sacked so much.

Outside the top 6 in League One and this is the shite we have to endure. I feel like I live on another planet.

Even though Bromley and Wigan will definitely get relegated and Doncaster will finish in the bottom half and may well find themselves in a relegation scrap, we've won 3 of our last 4 games. He won't be getting sacked anytime soon.

However, I remain completely unconvinced. Weirdly, I think he he would have been a better appointment had we stayed up in the championship last season and been OK with having a season being a mid table championship side. He has consistently finished between 10th and 16th in his managerial career. You might get the odd good performance, but you'll get many frustrating ones. His football just doesn't bring consistent results, regardless of the level.

Cifuentes was taking us down without a shadow of a doubt, that guy is the biggest fraud I’ve ever seen. So shit he had to pay his own compo

We’re a defensive howler horror show for Halloween on Saturday, just you wait.
Caleb O-Ghouly, Will O’Horror,, Luke Tomb-as and Harry Spooktar.
One or more of them will give us a King Power graveyard smash against Stevenage for sure.

Think this thread is a little embarrassing as he's starting to turns things around now.

Am in the minority but am convinced he's the right man and his success at Southampton shouldn't be looked down upon.

Yes the recent wins were 'only' against lowly Wigan and Doncaster but you can only beat what's in front of you.

The performances haven't convinced me at all. The only one of those four games where we looked convincing was against Bromley, and they were the worst team I've ever seen us play against in a league game.

I still think we've got far too many Burton, Oxford and Perborough performances in us.

I think convincing performances in League One are of a much lower standard than what you would get in the Premier League or Championship.

This is the lowest we’ve ever been, these players aren’t going to go through 90 minutes without having ropey moments - they aren’t good enough to do so.

I get that, but we were playing against a truly terrible side last night and we gave away some really clear chances and we were incredibly sloppy at times.

When that fan confronted him about his stubbornness he said "I live by the sword, I die by the sword." Still waiting for us to do the living by the sword bit.

A soft, unpopular appointment that completely epitomises the reign of the fat ogres at the top the club. At least we haven't hung out hat on this proven failure by signing a tonne of his mates when the club doesn't have a pot to piss in! Oh wait...

We are never going to be promoted from this league with Russell Martin as manager, it's as simple as that.

I’ll say it again, KP won’t sack him as they’d be admitting they’d made a mistake, absolute moronic club from Top to bottom.

Its quite simple really. The objective for RM was to get promoted (and lets be honest with these melons at the top, it would have been tk piss the league)...its NEVER ever happening with this donut so its DONE.

Sack him, and salvage the season! Results been nowhere near good enough.
