Most people despise Daka and Ayew so which is it, Fatawu tried to do too much himself or he should have passed to those clowns?

It could also be argued that with two wingers that actually created big chances for strikers they might have actually scored more and been hated less..

9 big chances created by Mavididi and Fatawu last season

as opposed to 43 under Enzo by them both

The magic moments were exactly the same though, until he was found out, i think he will struggle personally. he does not have many strings to his bow.

as a player i liked him though, and scored some important goals

I remember people saying the exact same thing about Mahrez when he joined Manchester City

To create a chance you need a striker to make the right runs and be in the right place, Ayew never was. Players also need the framework from the manager and coaches which wasn’t there at all.

Quite often Fatawu would be the furthest forward and have nobody near him which is what led to lots of the silly shots.

He’s not perfect but he got caught more flak for not being on it than shit players did for always being shit.

Daka started nearly half the games, and one thing that can’t be discredited is his willingness to run.

I think there is more to it than he spent the majority of the season in isolation “leading to silly shots”

Whilst I agree the strikers were shite.

Fatawu had nearly double the shots of Mavididi, who should’ve been having more shots for exactly the same reasons you have highlighted.

Maybe after a strong finish to the 23/24 season (hatrick etc) and being out injured and frustrated for much of the Prem season he got a taste for scoring sublime solo goals early last season and wanted to score more and be the main man.

lol @ comparing fatuwu to ****ing Mahrez - one of the best premier league players ever.

Where did I do that? I didn’t compare the actual players I compared statements made about those players

when Mahrez left, the comments on here was “one trick pony” “he’s been found out” “he will struggle at Man City”

Are Ipswich the only club that came in for him? They are the last club I would’ve seen him at. Good luck and all that but meh 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry, I didn’t read the thread so didn’t know whether any other clubs had been mentioned. I just thought he’d go somewhere a bit more ‘prestigious’ (no offence to Ipswich).

Don’t remember much of that. There were complaints about his attitude following his ‘strike’ but not much about his ability. For the majority of LCFC fans, he was the most skilful player we’ve ever seen playing in a Leicester shirt. From a footballing ability for me Mahrez is the best player to play for the club in my lifetime. Fatawu had some great moments but equally he’s had some bad moments and is not near the level of Mahrez so his loss isn’t near the level of Mahrez’s either.
