Despite getting zero service, he still looks the only player that is a threat. How he’s scoring goals in this side is a credit to him to be fair.

I think he's decent too, however it seriously makes you wonder how BDCR is anywhere near the squad, let alone starting games up front with Riis - yet Harry Howell and Braybrooke were on the bench!

Poached in Jan back to Championship at this rate.

The Telegraph said we paid £2m for him back in September.  If there is ANY chance of a takeover  happening this season we would need to keep him…

Doubt it, he’ll be on more money than he’s ever been on playing at a standard he’s shown to be too good for

Maybe I'm being naive but he seems like the type of player that wants to do well rather than collect the biggest wage possible (outlier in our recruitment). I'm sure his agent could have got jima bump somewhere less ridiculous. But you're quite possibly right

I’d imagine in the summer he was sold a dream that we’ll be challenging for promotion and he’ll get a hatful, all whilst being on the best contract of his career. You may be right he does look like one of only a few playing with any pride, but worst case scenario is if we don’t start climbing the league with his performances so far it’s not going to be a struggle for him to get another club, if he gets 10 before the Jan window he could well get a move then

Shouldn’t really be playing in League 1, and definitely not for us! lol

Good player.

This isn’t accurate enough to be worthy commentary or funny enough to be a sarcastic joke

If it wasn't for Riis, we wouldn't have scored any goals recently. (Not counting Fulhams children game).

He has been good and in a better team will score a lot more. So refreshing to see a striker do what a striker is supposed to do and do it well after Ayew, Daka and other dross we e brought in recently. He strikes the call cleanly more times than not, holds up the ball well and doesn't fall down in a breeze.

I like him

Agree on the funny, I’ll do better next time.

But I reckon it’s pretty accurate, he’s definitely better than this level.

I keep looking at your display picture thinking Muzzy is in a passport booth

My only memory of your posts is you being a big Jordan Ayew fan, but I may have got that wrong! lol

Lots of worthy commentary I’m sure though.

Anyone else hear his interview on RL, says training goes so well yet on Saturday it’s like the players have anxiety, has the KP become so toxic now the players are struggling to play with any real confidence

Me personally thought the crowd was right behind the team until Peterboroughs first goal went in

The odd chorus of boos from fans isn't the reason we've lost to Burton, Oxford and Peterborough home

It isn’t , but he’s kinda saying the players are playing with fear

The fans are generally always behind them until they turn into their usual circus act.

Barnsley for example, the atmosphere was brilliant until the players fvcked it up.

Blaming the fans for their inability to play the sport is odd, but unsurprising from this bunch of cowards.

Its a cop out

They proclaim to be professional footballers yet they underperform if the crowd becomes frustrated

Absolute jokers

It doesn't matter how much you get paid or how professional you are l, if you know that one mistake is going to result in you getting pelted with abuse it's going to take its toll. Going to overthink things, hesitate on the ball and it all leads to more of those mistakes. How many players have we seen do well after leaving us.

Personally I'd like to see us back the team for the 90 and then let the management get it (if required) at the end of the game. Hard to back to team with some of the recent dross though.

If you are seen to be running more and outworking the other team fans will be more forgiving and get behind you.

It doesn't take confidence to put a shift in.

Last season we were bottom of the distance covered and sprinting stats I doubt that has changed.

I don’t know who any of our players even are anymore and I can’t be bothered to find out.

Exactly how I feel. Under managers like Pearson, O'Neill, Bloomfield and Gillies you could name and really identify with every member of the squad.  In the last few years they've felt like strangers.
