I need a dilemma…. Don’t really care about England too much…. Watch in the World Cup and become involved and ultimately disappointed…. Other than that I don’t watch them…. I wasn’t even aware there was a game against Spain last weekend

My son Alex - who grew up in Hertford about 10 miles from Stevenage and was born in 2003...

 

I was from Leicester and I strong armed into him being a Leicester supporter when all his school pals were Arsenal or Spurs. He stood up against the slings and arrows as a Leicester supporter through the years...

 

...then when he was 13 Alex had the last laugh in 2016

 

Alex wearing his Leicester Vardy shirt around Hertford was an instant celeb in 2016. Builders would stop him in the street to talk about Leicester...

 

...his school pals suddenly became more friendly!

 

Today my son is 23 and he is going to the Stevenage game next Tuesday.

 

Hope Reilly Carr plays (who previously played for our home town club Hertford) and was born in Stevenage.

Edit: Just noticed the KO times, so it'll be Radio Leicester pre-match buildup and then FoxesHub for first half commentary. Then full England match on telly and FoxesTalk for City second half. I think.

Honestly think neither. Probably track the scores.

 

Fulham U21 was the first competitive game of ours where I had genuinely no interest whatsoever in watching it.

 

EDIT: Sorry - second after Blackburn last season.

Major tournament aside I couldn’t think of one thing I’d sooner do less than watching England play! Just give the major international teams a bye straight into said tournaments and let the minor nations scrap out qualification and be done with it

I only watch England at major tournaments. I find these nation league games glorified friendlies and semi pointless. 

 

I watch Leicester whenever I can.
