Would like to see Kvaratskhelia get it. Been brilliant for PSG for a couple of seasons . I don’t think Kane got Bayern’s player of the year, that was Olise. Yes, scores a lot of goals and there’s more to his game than that, but not sure he deserves the Balon’dor.

Christ, is that what we've become that we'd be using the "he played for us" line if Kane won the ballon dor? He was absolutely woeful for us. Whilst hes obviously become a world class player, his time with us was completely forgettable.

I think Kane is probably the best player in the world so he should probably win it but it's hard to argue with the fact Yamal won La Liga and the World Cup.

 

Either would be deserving winners IMO.

kane is certainly not the best footballer in the world 

yamal could be 

my view is that if Kane deserves this then he should have got England to at least the wc final. 

id give it to yamal - on the basis that he was an integral part of the wc winning side and his team won their domestic league (and he could actually be the best footballer). The only player that fits all the metrics of winning league, CL and WC is Ruiz

I think Mbappe is probably the best player in the world atm, but Yamal is the best player from a team who won the world cup or champions league. 

 

Kane has obv had a great season, but i think most teams would still take Mbappe over him (ignoring age too). 

 

Ronaldo managed to win a fair few by winning the champions league even though Messi was the best player in the world from about 2009-2020

89 goals since the beginning of last season.

 

If he's not the best player in the world then he's bloody close.
