Smallbone is a first team player all day if fit. And in the championship for 80% of the teams. We will win tonight no doubt. Stevenage will be the test, but we will come through both games, and have to get behind martin who will get us a top 2 finish.

Mindboggling

Top two of the bottom four?

It’s becoming impossible to avoid the conclusion that Martin really, really does not rate Kangasniemi.

Am I imagining that there was a rumour the club hierarchy put pressure on managers to okay certain expensive players?

it really wouldn’t surprise me if there is added input as they want to get okoli out the door in Jan …. I can’t think of any football based decision that would keep him in the side

Don't reward a shit defender who can't play the way you want and was crap at the weekend and it'd probably be more positive.

Absolutely. Made a scapegoat of Aluko quickly enough didn’t he and couldn’t wait to bin Bristric out the squad. Then doesn’t follow through with Okoli who was equally as honking.

The only way this improves long term is if we lose the next two and he gets sacked. This manager is absolutely useless. Moaning about players lacking energy and hardly making a change. Only change he's had to make is to drop Braybrooke who has done well recently.

Isn't it smallbone for lundstram?

Chaplin for Braybrooke isn't great

For me it was a opportunity to see Sammy in his natural position at DCM.

I’m guessing he will be playing Russell ball again.  Slow sideways and backwards passing even if it puts others under pressure that isn’t needed.

Two wins playing quicker football and we switch back to tried and tested failure.

To his defence, he is probably trying to comensate for lundstrom being suspended, bringing in experience etc.

I complete disagree with it though!

I am also becoming really irritated about why he picks Luke Thomas every week. It absolutely baffles me!

Chaplin comes in for Braybrooke.

Okoli will do well, because it's Wigan – and because Souttar (and O'Hara) will bail him out.

He will be itching to get Smallbone in the side over Braybrooke long term, mark my words.

It just shows that his words carry absolutely no meaning.

yarped on about lack of energy and learning from this and then barely changes it at all - adding in two barely fit plodders to the team and taking out one of the two players who is able to create.

4 of the worst defenders in the league  and all play for us . Feel sorry for anyone going tonight having to watch that back line p*** about and give away goals again

How has the prat decided Okoli is worthy of a start tonight?

Feel a bit for Braybrooke too - don’t think he deserved to be dropped, but I guess I’m interested to see what Chaplin can do is this setup too.

No fullback cover on the bench when playing wingbacks… it’s a choice, not a good one, but there we are.

If he's not gonna play the big fin tonight against one of the worst sides in the league when will heever play. Perfect game tonight for him.
