Expecting better than a draw at home to Stevenage does not mean the fans still think we're a Champions League club

Current state? Well since you aren't aware, just check the history section of Foxestalk. You will find this "current state" is the lowest the club has ever been IN IT'S ENTIRE HISTORY.

Never been this low. The worst of all time.

 

Maybe that's why the fans aren't too happy? Maybe they expect us to win every week - because we are in the third tier of English football, with a budget vastly larger than any other club, and the last time we were in this division, at our previous nadir, we absolutely dogwalked the league. All things considered, it's a miracle people aren't a hell of a lot angrier.

You can accept we are a League One club while pointing out we are the biggest budget club in the division bobbing around mid table with a third of the season nearly gone. 
 

We are underperforming significantly

Biggest wage bill in L1 history.

Not beating the likes of Stevenage is abject failure.

More points thrown away. Switched off for their second  but that said we should be taking our chances. Their keeper made some good saves as well. He is miles better than McCarthy, maybe the kind of loan player we should have in! Stonewall handball as well second half!

Our main problem when attacking is that we don't move the ball quickly enough and over play looking for that perfect goal.

This. And the highest paid manager in the whole EFL bar Nuno allegedly….

 

On paper this team should be top, there’s nothing entitled about that, it’s an opinion formed on the players previous experience largely being a higher level than this. 
 

The fact that some fans are failing to see how this is an utter failure to this point is staggering, they’re either ostriches, or don’t know alot about football.

1st time I have thought this, and other have said it. But listening to people outside accepting a 2-2 draw against Stevenage. We have to accept where we are etc....

 

We are not angry enough as a general fan base about what has happened over the last 5 years.

 

Bad decision after bad decision. Has us where we are, Russell Martin is one of those bad decisions. 

 

We shouldn't be accepting draws we need to demand high standards.

The fans are poor when we are paying to watch the complete stupidity of a manager bringing on complete turds like Burns and Chaplin. That’s after seeing donkey performances from Okoli and O’Hora. Think you are attaching blame to the wrong group.

Decided to switch the all season wheels for the snow wheels on my SUV instead of watching this. Had more fun, enjoyment and relaxation (mind the back) than having to watch our shower of shit play.

 

Martin isn't the guy. I think we can do better with some of the mehhhhhh players we have if we had a manager who could read a game and switch things up. 

 

Players need to be held accountable 100%. Do better people!
