In context,  our expensively assembled squad and manager at home to Stevenage in the third tier were unable to find a way to win.

Utter garbage. The most beige, League One-y opposition imaginable at home and a game that while not the worst all season highlights virtually all of our flaws again.

 

Our summer was awful. We've got it totally wrong. No proper defensive midfielder. No technically good centre halves (despite appointing the most royal possession obsessive of all time), a load of beige, nothingy attacking midfielders who still can't really pile the pressure on said beige League One side. And to make matters worse we are paying out a top half Championship set of wages to this.

These finished 18th in league two in our glory year. £35 to watch us against Stevenage what the actual, I'm sure I got the champions league tickets for a similar price. It needs to be about £20 to try and fill a few more seats. I think we also need to stop filling the squad with expensive rejects just play the kids surely we wouldn't be any lower. Imagine the vibes if 7 or 8 were from the academy rather than 3 or 4.

Actually think I agree with this. Think if you were taking any of him, Chaplin or Bob you'd probably go for him at this point.

I don't mind Cullen. He tries and has scored goals this season.  But Burns and Chaplin are baaaad.  Chaplin might get better as he's been out so long but Burns is the worst right winger we've signed since Josh Low.

 

O'Hora is useless, Okoli isn't much better.

 

Thing is, the powers that be will look at the table and think "we win the game in hand we'll nearly be in the playoffs so it isn't that bad".

 

It is bad.  It's garbage.  We cannot beat Stevenage at home.  We've already lost plenty of games at home.  We have the most expensive squad in the league and the highest paid manager.  He still needs binning, I don't care that we've won three out of five.  We're still bobbins.

Anyone with half a working brain knew that bench was garbage when the team was announced. We've been so shit for so long it shouldn't be surprising when shite results like this happen, but this manager and the decisions he makes are so unfathomably stupid. We didn't have to get anyone in other than a steady hand for this season, someone solid, organised. Instead we've appointed a failure and we're getting failure. The only people it'll shock are the tits that hired him

 

The academy boys are the one sliver of light in this ****ing turd of a season and they'll no doubt be sold off so we can buy more jack of all trades, master of none, 5 stone wet through injury magnets. Complete and utter loser club
