Went to see Cabaret at the KitKat Club last night.

Very non pc, hugely enjoyable camp fun, in a really excellent theatre that has been transformed into a seedy cabaret club.

Highly recommend.

What a day at work...more incompetence from Amazon.

We're given a time to load our parcels, known as a wave time.

You can be 20 minutes early, but literally 30 seconds late and they won't let you in.

I turned up 9 minutes before my wave time and they turned me away at the gate because "volume is high and you're too early"!

We were delayed an hour. A fvcking hour.

Apparently, they couldn't pick the parcels quickly enough.

Volume up on Black Friday week? Who would have thought it?

Some drivers just went home.

Plus where our depot is, it seriously cocked up the traffic. Caused tailbacks on the A45 where it joins the M1 at Junction 15.

Just another thing to add to the list of how bad they. I actually can't believe they think they're a logistics company.

Pay has gone up quite considerably until week 52 though

Still not enough to put up with their shit.

Getting some new sofas delivered today. SCS have been great so far and I've got no qualms with their service and updates/tracking of the order. But this made me laugh...

'Your SCS order is due to arrive at approximately 9.26'

APPROXIMATELY.

:D

I'd like to think @FoxesDeb would be proud of my Pork Wellington today.

Yes, I know, it should be beef, but for various reasons, it wasn't.

Lovely with that red cabbage though, Deb

Nope, approximately 10.02.

lol

You should file a complaint. This is unacceptable and you deserve a store credit for the inconvenience it has caused.

Lost a very close relative today and whilst hugely sad for me, it’s absolutely heartbreaking seeing family members around you crumble isn’t it

Horrible isn't it.

As I put on here last week, my father-in-law passed away.

Awful to see my Mrs, her sisters, her mum and the kids so distraught.

I text one of my mates earlier, hadn't heard from him for a couple of weeks, his dad was diagnosed with cancer a month ago. Found out today he's not expected to see out another week.

It's just so fvcking sad.

There's nothing you can say or do either, which makes it even more unbearable.

Sending love to you and your family x

As mentioned above, my mates parents live in Minehead, he's travelling down there today to say goodbye to his dad.

Fvck cancer.

Like seriously FVCKING FVCK CANCER

I'm heartbroken that it's taken my father-in-law.

We've now just found out that Dave's dad has got cancer too.

Just fvcking speechless.

Bob is almost 90, he can't even have treatment, because they say he's too weak.

His response..."it's just taken my son, I've got nothing to live for"

Distraught doesn't even describe it.

Ffs im sorry to hear that mate. Life can be tough. Lost my mum to cancer when she was 57.  About 3 days prior her brother inlaw passed from cancer too.  We never told her because she was on her last days.

Best advice i can give is to cherish your days and be kind. I might come across as some sex fiend wankin weirdo on here but deep down im just a tosser like you all.

Keep well and if you need to vent feel free to send me a private message on here.

Keep your chin up mate.

Regular ear check at the specialist, waiting to be told the usual stuff like every year.

Only this time he said there were improvements and not only am I going to be allowed to start swimming again - he gave me the all clear to learn scuba when we go to Thailand.

I am so happy I could go clear everyone from my block list.

What?

I tried scuba diving about 15 years ago in Egypt. One of the best and surreal experiences of my life. Prepare to be amazed. Congrats on the improvements.

Went snorkelling in Aruba, it was stunning and scuba has been a bucket list thing since. Was a bit gutted when I discovered I couldn’t do it - but so stoked now. Three days of fishes and little sharks coming up.

I went to see the Wizard of Oz at the Curve and it was GREAT

I can’t deal with personal pronouns. I try, but calling someone an it seems so dehumanising.

After all this time, this is what gets me cancelled.

It's not been for want of trying

Interesting discussion, dream dinner party, So basically five celebs you loved to invite to a dream dinner party... living celebs

1) Kelly Brook... eye candy of course

2) Michael Palin, so many adventures and trips he would certainly have a few stories to tell.

3) Billy Connolly, need a joker among the pack.

4) Tom Hanks, Done some great movies plus seems such a friendly guy,

5) Jim Dale, Huge carry on fan so wanna hear the stories.

Nigella Lawson also a chef for the dinner ;)  how the hell is she 62!
