Anyhoo good old fashioned centre forward who always tried his best. Every team needs a Steve Howard. I know, but he's past it as a player, so there's no point being bitter and slagging him off now he's left. He gave his all and it's the right time to move on

All in all, you should've maybe moved on about a year ago or even before that. But your effort and passion have been greatly appreciated for the time you were with us. "he offers something different" well in actual fact he offers nothing at this level anymore and that was quite clear last season, and yet he's been making our subs bench ahead of developing the likes of Tom Hopper. Its time for this club to start planning ahead for once. I keep reading the word legend.. are people actually being serious? Hopefully we can move on now instead of replacing him with another hasbeen in Heskey.

That goal vs Leeds and that night in Cardiff have been two of the best moments I can remember over the past 10 years or so and he was at the heart of both.
