Definitely give Serial a listen, it does slightly have a biased view towards Adnan because the person doing it had been talking to him for years, but she does quite well in showing both sides of the story. What I got from it is, that I personally think he's guilty but I don't think the evidence presented is enough to have convicted him.

Do you get the jist that towards the end, Sarah Koenig deep down beleives Adnan is guilty and tries to combat it, but cant anymore.

In addition, a lot of people listen to Undiscovered. This is a scrutinous view on the legal side of things and is produced by Adnan's close family friend (Who approached Sarah K and resulted in Serial) and a panel of lawyers. Whilst it offers a good insight, it is very strongly bias and does not hide that fact.

I did wonder whether she's like that from the start regardless and just added that in later just to throw a bit of a spanner in the works like, works nevertheless though. i remember that chilling phone call she has with him where he goes a little mental, I've not listened to it for a while though. I've not delved any further into the case, as I felt there wouldn't be much more information than Serial already delved into. I quite liked series 2 of serial as well, despite getting a bit of a mixed reaction.

Just googled undisclosed, Rabia Choudry is the main face / voice in the HBO series. Yes, she's immensely biased and isn't really pretending otherwise tbh.

I noticed Susan Simpson is on it though and she seems very good in the show. She's the main one that breaks down that both the radio towers evidence is garbage and also that the police are almost certainly leading Jay's story, both of which I do believe.

I'm on the last episode of the documentary now and it's taken a turn I really don't like. It's resorted to basically doing a hatchet job on Thiru Vignarajah which I do think is completely out of order. He wasn't the original prosecutor, he wasn't the prosecutor that surpressed Asia Mccain's testimony and lied about her being coerced, he's just a dude doing his job.

I do agree it's weird that he's prosecuting pro bono having left the state's office but as they say in the show, he's probably just doing this for attention and to advance his political career, it's not like he has an agenda specifically against Adnan.

And what does it matter what a prosecutor's motives for working are anyway? He's just doing a job. It's not like he's the judge, it isn't his decision who wins.

Really weird and unnecessary. It's like they're just lashing out now.

Also, does Serial include the investigations from QRI the new York private investigation firm?

Because some of their final conclusions about time of death, lividity and Alonso Sellers are seriously troubling.

Finished Jack Ryan - 6.5/10

It's definitely entertaining but it's definitely a bit shit. Unsurprisingly given that it's Tom Clancy's it's very game like; almost every plot point is entirely predictable and ties up perfectly neatly. John Krasinksi is brilliant which I didn't think he would be and Rachel's dad is a good foil. If you can just switch off and watch something without thinking too critically about a tv series it's superb but I struggle not to.

Im going to have to have another look. I struggled sleeping last night so decided to read some forums online surrounding the case and again started to question some aspects. But I still strongly believe it was Adnan. I also beleive the state coerced Jay to an extent, it is no question that he was involved somehow; how much, we do not and perhaps will never know.

But nevertheless, it does not have to be one or the other. Both Adnan and the State can be liars and it doesnt change the fact he is the killer.

I just cant see past it not being Adnan tbh. He, Jay and Cathy all agree that Jay and Adnan were together on that day. He wrote on a letter he was going to kill Hae. It would just be a huge coincidence if it was someone else who committed the murder, with Jay an accomplice, and Adnan did not have any idea.

On another note, I have really grown to dislike Rabia throughout the whole ordeal. This case has become her cash cow and she has became a minor celebrity. The focus is far from 'Who actually killed Hae/Justice for Hae', and its refocused on 'is Adnan guilty of a crime'. I feel very sorry for her Family.

I have also read that there is DNA evidence which AS has refused to get tested. I do agree that it may not be beneficial either way, but then again if he has nothing to lose..

 - If it's Don's DNA, it may not prove anything as he was Hae's current partner and they were together the night before.

- If it's Jay's, again does not really prove anything new, as we know he was associated in disposing the body.

- If it's Adnan's it could be the final nail in the coffin.

Don't really know what to make of it!

I'm not sure it's Adnan so much as Justin Brown that wasn't originally particularly motivated to pursue the DNA testing.

What he claims in the documentary is that because of Adnan's relationship with Hae, its really not particularly unlikely that his DNA might show up in her car or on her clothing anyway.

He acknowledges they could push for the DNA to be tested, emphasise its significance and have it backfired if Adnan matched.

Really enjoyed the first Chernobyl. For anyone interested there is a great documentary about it on YouTube as well called The Battle of Chernobyl.

This subject has fascinated me since it happened. Was really looking forward to this series.I wasn’t disappointed.I think it will go a long way to educate us about the sacrifices made by thousands of brave men and women.Often without any knowledge of what danger they were putting themselves in.I think we are going to see many of their stories in this potentially brilliant series.

You should go over to Kiev and pay it a visit, haunting place.

Kiev itself isn’t haunting...

It really was, the fact it only came to light to the rest of the world that anything had happened was a recording in Sweden is scary. It shows the lengths people will go to to protect their own interests.

Did you visit the old power plant or abandoned city of Pripyat when you went to Kiev? I know people visit it but not sure how that works with the exclusion zone?

You do both, well the plant up to about a couple of hundred metres away.

The exclusion zone starts about 20 miles away where they take you to see the abandoned vehicles that were used to clean it up and then you go in a few different buildings like a school with pictures still on the wall, a leisure centre and flats in Pripyat then the reactor.

Me being the thick twat I am started stroking a stray dog that ran up to us lol

I've watched both seasons it is pretty weird, but Shadow Moon rocks the part and I did enjoy the show.
