Anyone seen season 2 of Sherwood? I got about a third of the way through episode 4 and called it quits.

Loved season 1 but this is a massive drop off. The old characters are still interesting but most of the new cast are nowhere near the same level. Clunky writing, ludicrous plotlines and to top it off some of the worst attempted East Midlands accents you will ever hear.

I thought it was still good and Lorraine Ashbourne / David Morrissey were fantastic but just didn't have the same tension of the first series. The whole subplot with Robert Lindsay was a bit boring and was wrapped up halfway through the finale, could've probably been cut entirely and other stuff fleshed out a bit more.

Good point about the Robert Lindsay character. Seemed to go down a blind alley story wise

Following recommendations here, just finished Lucan. Enjoyed it. I hadn't realised the alternative format to a regular drama.

On the first visit to 'the old man' I'd have pilfered something with DNA or fingerprints.

Actually really liked the last Batman film so I'm not surprised Penguin has been praised so much, maybe Farrel's best work?

Ottoman Empire by Train with Alice Roberts was better than I thought it'd be, and better than a lot of travel programmes. Did well to keep a consistent theme and actually show some very interesting and lesser-explored places.

New Wolf Hall brilliant so far even though the rather sympathetic portrayal of Cromwell annoys me.

Just finished this, it was excellent. The acting across the program was very good.

Just finished it, bit of a slog towards the end.  I don't understand why DNA was never brought up.  Fingerprints would have been easier provided Scotland Yard kept Lucan’s prints!

She's great. Probably end up with a BAFTA.

There were quite a few anachronisms in the opening episode (obviously modern cars in the background of shot etc.) and I don't think they quite nailed the early 90s aesthetic, but other than that it was strong.

I found last night's episode a bit dull TBH. I fell asleep.

Been off work the last couple of days so watched all of the Penguin. Thought it was brilliant and had my attention the whole way through.

Never watched the latest Batman though and there was a couple of bits were I thought that must be a reference to the film but dont think it madea difference. Will try and watch the film now.

Has it been shown before? I'm sure I remember Keanu introducing it. Maybe it was just from a trailer

Think it was on Disney originally.
