Grey Fox Posted 7 January 2013 Share Posted 7 January 2013 What, like going on loan to a team who were bottom of the league at the time? I'm talking about the future not the past. I'd be more than happy if he goes out on loan again. I'd rather sell him though.
dannythefox Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Be surprised if Pearson pays the asking price for him they value him at 2M+ and people are now saying he could move to the premiership with West Ham sniffing.

These kind of transfers (similar to Baptiste) can drag out for quite some time. Especially the Baptiste one as I am sure their owner is trying to milk every last player out of a player who will be free come the summer.

NP has said on more than one occasion he will not get drawn into a bidding war and it doesnt appear to be his style . If they want £2 million plus let West Ham pay it - I dont think we should; he's good just not THAT good.

Ric Flair Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 They can have him if they let us have Jack Collinson.

Out Foxed Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Jack Collision....all he does is hit and hope. He'd be an accident waiting to happen. We'd need better insurance in defence.
LCFC Todd Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Didn't Collison score a good goal against us on the final home game of last season? Wouldn't mind him

Fox92 Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Didn't Collison score a good goal against us on the final home game of last season? Wouldn't mind him Yeah, 20/25 yard shot. Good player he is, but I doubt West Ham will let him go. He's just coming back from injury as well, I think.
Finnegan Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Like Collison but hugely unfortunate with injuries. Good player at this level and capable in the prem. Maybe bit beyond us really.
kingfox Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 If we can't get Trotter, have a look at Liam Bridcutt. And if not them two, try and get Ross Barkley on loan.

Watched him against Newcastle, looked extremely mobile and outrageously tough tackling for his size! Would be happy with either.
kingfox Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Watched him against Newcastle, looked extremely mobile and outrageously tough tackling for his size! Would be happy with either. Trotter or Bridcutt, any of them would be a quality signing, and would add quality to our midfield.
MGLCFC Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Is Bridcutt wanting to leave Brighton? Is he available? How much would he cost? Would Brighton want to sell? Whilst I have to confess I know little of his qualities, is it fair to say that this is a player who is performing well for his club, but as yet there is no indication from reliable sources that we are after him, unlike Trotter? leicesterisme Posted 9 January 2013 Share Posted 9 January 2013 Don't think we'd have a chance with Bridcutt tbh.
