Steven Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 According to the Sun. LEICESTER have joined the race to land Millwall’s Liam Trotter. The big-spending Foxes believe the £2million-rated midfielder, 24, can add bite and goals to their promotion push. Fulham, Reading and Southampton are also plotting moves.

Carl the Llama Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Interesting stat: Since Trotter arrived at M'wall we've played 5 matches against them. They won all 4 that he started and lost the one he wasn't involved in. Edit: I tell a lie - he featured in the last 8 minutes of one of those matches. We'd just pulled one back in the 82nd minute to make it 2-1 and he came on to stop us equalising.
Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 There's actually a horse called Hey Big Spender who was just pulled up on channel 4 racing
Guest shearfox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Hmm he may be on his way this week If he isn't injured and wasn't even on the bench, it is likely he is off and didn't want him cup tied...
Fox92 Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 He's not in the Millwall squad today Interesting, but a number of teams are interested in him apparently.
ian_marshall Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Interesting, but a number of teams are interested in him apparently. Smoke and mirrors to bump up the price and secure him a better contract.
Ely fox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 If epl clubs want him we have no chance of signing him do we
dobbylcfc Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Would deffo take him if we can sign him great player
foxes2011 Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 yep tbh i think we need a player like him a reall tough tacking player and good with the ball
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Wasnt in Millwalls squad for today .....
KFS Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 This would be a very good purchase for a few reasons. Where else will you find a tough tackler who is good on the ball at his age and price tag? He's also had experience in the league and would fit NP's strategy. He would come in handy on those hard graft away games where someone needs to grab hold of the midfield area and instrument the game. Bring him in I say!
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Agent King â€@FootyAgentKing Liam Trotter was left out of #Milwall squad today to prevent him being cup tied ahead of move to #Leicester We shall see I guess.
Leicesterpool Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 So if he does sign will this be his song agreed? Stick a pony in me pocket, I'll fetch the suitcase from the van. Cos if you want the best 'uns, but you don't ask questions, Then brother, I'm your man. 'Cos where it all comes from is a mystery, It's like the changin' of the seasons, and the tides of the sea. But here's the one that's drivin' me beserk, Why do sign Liam Trotter? La-la-la. La-lala-la. La-la-la. La-lala-la
