Unabomber Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Finished the series today. Getting that sense of emptiness when you finished a series! What did people think of the ending? Heard it got negative press. Thought it was good and a fitting way to end it.
The Blur Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Thought it was good and a fitting way to end it. Agreed. Some of criticisms were fair though- the whole series was just based on a series of cock ups and how things can go wrong very quickly but everything in Walt's final plan came off very easily. Such as Walt being able to walk around and sneak in Skylar's house easily without being spotted and the supremacist gang neglecting to check Walt's car trunk.
The Blur Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Just read whole of the thread now that I have finished the series. Enjoying all of nods and references that I did not get before.

Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 24 May 2014 Posted 24 May 2014 Wow! Just finished the final series, amazing finale. Breaking Bad was a real slow burner for me having moved onto it after finishing the Sopranos, it took a while for me to get into it, but it grew on me and I ended up loving it. A fantastic series.
Webbo Posted 24 May 2014 Posted 24 May 2014 House of Cards filling the void nicely at the moment. I'm watching it at this minute. It's not Breaking Bad but it ain't bad.
Stadt Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Mike was one of my favourite characters, good role and a good actor.
Guest Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Last episode was utter shite. Did you have your eyes open for it?
goose2010 Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Last episode was utter shite. name me a better last episode of anything ever and I will stop laughing. Mate it was perfect.
sphericalfox Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 http://www.itv.com/news/update/2014-05-30/bryan-cranston-never-say-never-to-more-breaking-bad/ Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has suggested that the cult series may not be finished for good after all. Asked by CNN host Ashleigh Banfield if his character Walter White was dead, the Golden Globe winner replied: "I don't know." "You never saw bags zip up or anything, or anybody say... you know." And asked if there could be another installment of the hit show, he said: "Never say never." The programme was thought to have concluded after five seasons in September 2013.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Did you have your eyes open for it? That A-team machine gun scene was one of the cringiest things I've ever clapped eyes on.

As much as I loved every single minute of Breaking Bad..... I really hope they don't carry it on. The last episode was a perfect ending, no matter what the crazy bastard above me thinks!
Stadt Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Ignore Bobby Hundreds, he's almost always deliberately controversial to try and provoke reactions.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Yes really controversial stuff saying I didn't rate an episode of TV.
Stadt Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Well considering it was viewed as a good ending claiming it was "one of the cringiest things I've ever clapped my eyes on" is controversial.

Nick Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 I thought BB should have ended after the previous season - not that I didn't like the final season, just that I thought the previous seasons end was spot on.
MooseBreath Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 It was always going to be quite a tough one to end to be fair. Personally I think they did a good steady job of wrapping things up and making sure it took nothing away from the quality of the rest of the show. I also think it was a pretty good episode in itself, with some outstanding moments like the ever so subtle mutual appreciation at the end
sphericalfox Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Honest Breaking Bad trailer (contains spoilers!!!)
