Rodgers seems to love Shelvey, hence he is generally a regular for Liverpool. Don't think he is that good personally, but would probably do a decent job in the Championship. He currently plays for Bochum and, according to reports, has been looked at by Barca and Arsenal scouts. He might not be ready for that calibre of club just yet, but he could be another Knockaert in the summer if we play our cards right. Teixera and Suso also mentioned, it's good to look at young players. After all if we're promoted, you can bet Pearson will continue with his policy of youthful signings so it'll be players like these he'll be interested in. ian1984summer Posted 26 February 2013 Share Posted 26 February 2013 what about that messi fella from barcelona, he looks pretty good and scores a few goals. lets take him for the rest of the season. i don't think loan signings quite work like that. jonjo shelvey starts for liverpool now and again, has goals for them, and is usually one of the first subs used if on the bench. we can't just pick and choose any players we think will do well for us.
