Guest MattP Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 That's really poor from Trott. Giving it away.
Guest MattP Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Actually in shock here.Never seen anything like it
Super_horns Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 hm...not the news you want to be waking up to! Sounds like a repeat of the bad old days when batting collapses were the norm.
Simmo86 Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Waking up yesterday was lovely, today not so good .
chuck'em Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 I'm going to a party in a small town in Australia tonight. It's going to be bloody horrible.
cambridgefox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 I stirred at 5 ish and it was about 85-8 or something like that,I was so pissed off I couldn't get back to sleep.

It's going to be bloody horrible.one swallow doesn't make a summer.they are a chirpy bunch when winning but they have the cheek to call us whinging poms, because I have never met such a whinging nation.Just had a shocker and Ausralia took full advantage of it.

Oh I'm fully aware of that. It's all in good humour though. I was here for the last series so there been plenty of ribbing from both sides. It's just a shame we had to put that performance in today.
surrifox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 bad day at the office at a ground where we rarely do well. All 10 wickets to catches must be a rarity. I'd expect us to bounce back and whilst this one has probably gone, batting well in the second innings will give a chance to regroup and send a message. What on earth has happened to Matt Prior's batting? he is carrying on his terrible form from the summer series when the stage was set for him to play one of his pugnacious counter attacking knocks.
purpleronnie Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 And that's why I never get excited about how well we're doing, anything can happen.
Corky Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Back to 2001, Hussain and Atherton must've felt familiar.
Corky Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 He who bowls to the left and right not very well whilst saying "Why you chirping now mate? Not getting wickets?" with a stupid haircut took four wickets.
Nick Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 We needed 3 wickets last night to have had any real hope at this! Bar an almighty session today getting them all out swiftly, we have lost this one.
Guest MattP Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 How many tours is that now on the trot where we have scored less than 200 first innings of the first match? Still got no doubt we'll pull it back over five tests but we have got to get to the bottom of this.
I am Rod Hull Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Woke up this morning to the Aussies batting. I thought to myself, why are they showing highlights of the first innings, must be raining Knobs.
