Jakemoore Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Waste of time imo....we won't win the competition so lets just get out and get on with what matters; promotion.
StanSP Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Not Charlton or Birmingham. We play them the weekend after and before; I don't like playing teams twice quickly in succession.
KFS Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Bournemouth or Yeovil. Wish the Gills didn't get knocked out.
RowlattsFox Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Preston would be ideal. Morecambe would be ok, or fleetwood if they get through tonight Liverpool or Everton away for a big game.
Finnegan Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Tidy Prem side at home. Puton a good show but go out bravely with pride and confidence in tact, get a reasonable return from the gates and then **** off this waste of time competition to focus on our 46 league games.
Hitesh Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Bristol city or Cheltenham please - I'm working down here for a while now so would love an away tie to one of these places...
Loggy88 Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 I'd like another lower league side even though there's not that many left. Cup run could be good for the confidence. Like to avoid prem teams as its only 2nd round.
Ric Flair Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Orient away, I loved it at their ground. Or Brentford, Stevenage or another London club. Preferrably someone crap.
MC Prussian Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Rotherham away - visiting their brand-new New York Stadium would be a treat.
billyn88 Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Any of the following away would do just fine... Brentford Charlton Peterborough QPR Orient Millwall MK Franchise Stevenage Swindon Palace Fulham West Ham
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 I don't want a glory tie at this early stage. A nice easy home draw against a league 2 side will do just fine thank you What like last season?
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Is the second round still seeded? To be honest I thought it was.........no one else seems to though
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Waste of time imo....we won't win the competition so lets just get out and get on with what matters; promotion. What about the financial benefits of a decent run, and testing properly, some fringe players?
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 Yeah by the looks if it it's always been seeded in the past. To be honest I thought it was seeded all the way up to round 3........... EDIT: looks like 3rd isn't 2nd defo is was last year anyway, so no Prem clubs this round!
