Father Ted Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 lol McGivern not that bad? He was probably one of the worst defenders I have seen since I started going down to watch Leicester. That includes the Levein & Rob Kelly years Which other 19-year old left-back loanees have been better than him, I wonder? Greg Cunningham for one. PVA Ben Mee Ryan McGivern is up there as one of the worst players I've ever seen in a Leicester shirt.
Corky Posted 23 December 2013 Posted 23 December 2013 Which other 19-year old left-back loanees have been better than him, I wonder? Alan Rogers
conLAD logan Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 http://instagram.com/p/jUBaxPQ0NM/ A classic Wasyl smack
Bryn Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Am I the only one who wish he wouldn't do shit like that? Coulda walked and cost us two points or worse.
foxes4e4 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 I would rather give a goal away by a player being committed and reckless, than a player who bottles a tackle leading to a goal. Im sure the players in training will learn a bit from Was aswell, as we need to be ruthless and aggressive. totally need some teeth in defence
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 'kinell we won't get bullied anymore when Was is on the pitch
conLAD logan Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Am I the only one who wish he wouldn't do shit like that? Coulda walked and cost us two points or worse. as long as he gets away with it i'll laugh at it, but the day he's caught of course i'll be pissed off.
lgfualol Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Nah, **** Leeds. Their players were going down if you breathed in their direction. A good smack in the chops for Varney was enough to calm him down.
Salieri Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Am I the only one who wish he wouldn't do shit like that? Coulda walked and cost us two points or worse. Agreed. I like the fella but he's definitely a bit of a loose cannon and could easily cost us points if he carries on like that.
MGLCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Love the fact he shows real aggression - may get a red card at some point, but he's a no nonsense defender and sometimes you need to rough up the opposition and let them know who is boss.
MGLCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Hardly a punch, more of a bit of a forearm smash - yeah it's a man's game - we have to stop pussy footing around in some games and be able to mix it
Bryn Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 That is 100% a punch. He's withdrawn his arm and then extended it, clenched first first, into the players face. He should be banned, to be quite honest, if Michael Brown had done that today I would be livid.
TJB-fox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Varney supports Leicester doesn't he? Diving little weasel
MGLCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 But it isn't his fist that glances Vardy, it's his forearm - if his clenched fist had hit Vardy on the chin it would have knocked him out. For me I like the idea we have some steel in defence, particularly against physical teams like Leeds.
Jakemoore Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 That's not a punch! Varney dived! He shouldn't be assaulting leicester fans in any way shape or form though 😎
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 It looks worse on that little clip, but actually was nothing. Varney was already going down as Was is turning, and his upper body movement causes his arms to swing and that's it, nothing else in it.
sylofox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Sat in the pub with a leeds fan. When wasa come on he said "He looks like a right animal" lol from a leeds fan
red5 Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 http://instagram.com/p/jUBaxPQ0NM/ Why have you posted the same clip again? I'd rather he played for us than against us, nothing more than what walshy used to do.
